What are the classifications of aquatic flowers?
The roots of the splash grow in the soil, the stems and leaves stand on the water, and they leave the water when they bloom, which is very beautiful. This kind of flower includes wet plants and swamp plants. Their plants are very tall and most of them have obvious stems and leaves. Their stems stand upright and grow in shallow water near the shore, such as lotus, litchi, aquatic iris, cattail, calamus and pear.
2. floating flowers
The roots of floating leaf flowers are born in the mud, the leaves float or rise slightly above the water surface, and they cling to the water surface when they bloom. The stems of these flowers are too thin to stand upright, and some of them have no obvious aboveground stems, developed rhizomes and beautiful flowers. They usually store a large amount of gas in their bodies, so that their leaves or plants can float on the water smoothly, such as Wang Lian, water lilies, Euryale ferox, Peach Blossom and so on. They are located in deep water.
3. Floating flowers
The roots of floating flowers grow in water and plants float on the water, so the position on the water is not easy to control. There are few kinds of this kind of flowers. Plants float on the water and drift around with the current and wind and waves, and most of them are foliage plants, such as duckweed and Eichhornia crassipes.
Step 4 sink a splash
The roots of this flower are stuck in the mud and the stems and leaves are immersed in water. The flowers are small, the flowering period is short and the leaves are mainly ornamental. They grow in the center of water, the whole plant is submerged in water, and the leaves are mostly slender or filiform. There are many kinds of submerged flowers, such as glass algae and water shield.
In the garden, the most common flowers are beautiful flowers and floating flowers. Floating flowers and sinking spray are less used and are generally used to purify water. In recent years, aquariums have begun to cultivate tropical fish and aquatic flowers, and submerged flowers are widely used.
In order to adapt to the water environment, aquatic flowers gradually evolved many secondary aquatic structures in the long evolution process for normal photosynthesis, respiration and metabolism. Therefore, compared with terrestrial flowers, they have formed many characteristics of their own in plant morphology and tissue anatomy.
