Guangxi special snacks
I used my two-day business trip to taste the snacks in Nanning. These include: roasted leek, roasted eggplant, roasted oyster, roasted stinky tofu, roasted spring rolls, freshly squeezed juice, old friend powder, beef powder, long rice rolls, fried sour bamboo shoots, crabs, shredded taro, steamed pork ribs with bamboo shoots, clay pot rice, red bean paste, peanut paste, kelp mung bean soup, mung bean cake and flower cake.
When I settled down in the city center, I immediately went out to look for food with my colleagues. Before I came here, I printed some merits and demerits. I know that the most famous here are all kinds of rice noodles. Let's start with rice noodles! Rice noodle shops are all over the street. Breakfast here is all rice noodles, so there are many rice noodle shops on every street.
Chang rice rolls: Rice noodles are sold in two quantities. There are all kinds of braised pork and casserole. You can add braised pork, eggs and vegetables at will. First, you can add 2 rice noodles, a dish and a glass of juice, and settle the bill in 5 yuan. There are all kinds of spices on the table next to it. There are three kinds of light peppers: Chili oil and two kinds of pickled peppers. The best thing to eat is small white pickled pepper, which tastes spicy, but you can't eat more, because it is very spicy and prone to nausea. Garlic powder and shallots, as well as salt and perilla (it acts like coriander in the north and tastes like mint, but northerners are not used to it). The rice noodles are delicious and fragrant. Zhongshan Road: Everyone in Nanning knows that it starts at 7: 00 pm and lasts until 4: 00 am. Unlike Beijing, after 1 1: 00, all shops except bars are closed, and the streets are not popular. Nanning 1 1 point, the largest supermarket, Puls Matt, has not closed yet, and Zhongshan Road is also busy (it was raining when taking pictures, and there were fewer people). For the first time, it seemed that Granny Liu had entered the Grand View Garden, and everything was fresh. We sell barbecue, noodles, wonton, dessert and herbal tea. Eating from the street to the end of the street, two people can't get through 70 yuan. Happiness, I really want to eat like this every day. Colleagues joked that this is a good place to pick up girls, and no matter how you eat, you won't go bankrupt.
Laoyou Powder: It's a local specialty. We want to try the old shops that local people go to. Let's go to Fuji. Although it looks like a pot of noodle soup at first glance, the whole production process is very simple, and there is no essence, just like cooking instant noodles. The powder is flat and the taste is absolutely meaningless. In the end, we didn't even have soup left. Unfortunately, I was too hungry to take pictures.
Barbecue: The most classic is grilled oysters. The guy in the back, knock the oyster open with a hammer, leave a shell with meat, and then take it to the barbecue stall. The barbecuer put them all on the charcoal net with pliers. As the temperature rises, the oysters slowly ooze water, and the thick sauce is brushed on them with a brush. After serving, slowly remove the meat with chopsticks, so that both sides are covered with sauce. Smell it, it smells a little garlic, and it feels fresh. Blow it into your mouth, because it's small. Go down in one gulp. The delicious taste of seafood is perfectly combined with the secret barbecue sauce. Tender and fresh. There will be two more bosses. Roasted leeks and eggplant are also good. Eggplant is soft and slippery. Finally, it is concluded that the boss's sauce is very good, but the formula will never spread. There are advertising signs reported by TV stations on the booth.
Seafood, stir-fry: Because it is not far from Beihai, there are many seafood here. You can choose several kinds of cooking at will. We ordered a catty of fried crab with ginger. Delicious, 25 yuan. Most of them are eaten by themselves, which is very refreshing. There are also giant crabs, each weighing about a kilo, and only 15 yuan for three dishes. Unfortunately, my stomach is limited and I haven't tasted it. This is something I regret to this day.
Sour bamboo shoots: Sour bamboo shoots are used as a side dish to stir-fry snails and add powder, which is very delicious. Our single-point fried sour bamboo shoots are also very distinctive. When paired with green peppers, their acidity is moderate and refreshing.
Pot rice: Actually, it's casserole rice, including chicken, eel and chicken offal. 5, 6 yuan/pot, each pot is made on site, so the waiting time is longer. Marinated rice is delicious, but it is also a little salty. I want to drink dessert after eating. The lobster sauce pepper on the table tastes good. Eating together is delicious. Everyone who eats this is local, so you can take this opportunity to chat with others. Nanning people are very warm and friendly, and they will answer any questions. We also borrow other people's food to take pictures. Everyone cooperated and recommended delicious food to us.
Dessert: There is a special dessert at the intersection of Zhongshan Road, that is, our northern mung bean soup and red bean soup are all so delicious, rustling, sweet but not greasy, 1 yuan/bowl. You can also mix peanut paste and sesame paste together, which is sweet and delicious. Why is there nothing to sell in Beijing? If I lived here, I would come to him for a bowl every day. Small pieces of yellow mung bean cakes are also sold here. There is sesame oil in it, which is a little sweet and exquisitely made. A small piece is carefully wrapped in plastic paper.
Freshly squeezed juice: mango, pitaya, papaya, lemon, cucumber, carrot, full of yards on the counter, you can choose a few at will, juice on the spot, small glass of 3 yuan, large glass of 6 yuan. Of course, if we want to go, we can't have carrots. They are the cheapest vegetables in the whole street. We want mango, pitaya, papaya and lemon, which are not often eaten at home. They are very fresh and refreshing. It's really good! In fact, it was later discovered that carrots also have wonderful places, and the carrot lemon juice recommended by the boss is also very different.

Candy: in the supermarket, it is the size of soap, long and black, and looks like a cheap big soap from a distance. It turns out that this is the sugar used by local people to make desserts.
Herbal tea material: I feel like I have entered a Chinese medicine shop, and the smell of Chinese medicine is everywhere. There are more than 20 varieties, and leaves, grass and roots are all materials for making herbal tea.
Dried fish powder: The dried fish powder in Huangdu Restaurant opposite Weijiahe Pharmacy on Zhongshan Road is delicious.

Eight Immortals Powder: Xianchi Powder Shop in the northernmost part of Zhongshan Road, which is only sold at noon 1 p.m. every morning.
Roast duck: Xinmin Road is near People's Park. There is a roast duck chef nearby.
Stir-fried snails: The stir-fried snails in Nanguo Street Palace are not bad.
At the foot of the water tower, the snail is fried in the "Taxiang Snail Shop" diagonally opposite.
Rice rolls: rice rolls, there is a Guangzhou rice noodle shop on Gucheng Road, which is very attractive.
Laoyou Powder: Ji Shu Laoyou Powder from Qixing Road is said to be the best in Nanning!
Zhongshan Road "Fuji" old friend noodles are rich in monosodium glutamate.
Laoyou powder, miscellaneous powder, palm seed, Ciba, etc. Jian Zheng restaurant next to Jian Zheng food market is full of traditional folk snacks from Nanning's former state-owned stores.

I think Shuangmangjing's (which seems to be called Tai Fang Cuisine) is good, sweet and slippery.

Zhonghua Road Jindu's barbecued pork buns are delicious, but there is a little less meat filling.

Wonton: There is a Nanning old-fashioned wonton opposite Heping.
Yulin-style wonton on Zhongshan Road, beef balls are delicious.
There are also wonton in the dumpling shop at Shixiangkou. Wonton itself tastes ordinary, but the wonton soup is very fresh.
Wonton king soup, a snack in Shaxian County, Fujian Province, is shrimp-flavored, and the stuffing is crisp and fresh.
There is also a wonton king branch in Beining Street next to Bandung. King Wonton and King Wonton belong to the same family.
