Later, it was renamed as Jiangsu No.3 Middle School, Jiangsu Songjiang Middle School and Jiangsu Songjiang Higher Vocational School of Applied Chemistry. 1950 merged with Songjiang county middle school to become a public Songjiang middle school in southern Jiangsu, which was named "Shanghai Songjiang No.1 Middle School" in 2004.
