A song "The Beauty of Taihu Lake" made me understand Wuxi. This song of Jiangnan style has been sung in my mind to Wuxi, because I walked into this ancient city with a history of 3,000 years in May this year. There are too many famous scenic spots in Wuxi, such as Yuanyuanzhu, Lingshan Giant Buddha and Huishan Ancient Town. Nanchang Street and Nanxiatang are recommended today, which can be said to be the most interesting places in Wuxi.

Nanchang Street, a must-see place in Wuxi, has a long history, which can be traced back to 10 century. It opened a post station in the Northern Song Dynasty, parallel to the ancient canal Shui Yi Road. One is where Wuxi people live. Now, after commercial upgrading, it has become a well-known commercial street. Every night, people are knitting, side by side, very lively.

There are many traditional houses across Nanchang Street in Nanxiang. Now the business has been transformed and upgraded, and many shops and shops with cultural and creative characteristics have been opened. Here, there are blue brick paths, pink and green tiles, checkered wooden windows and so on. Everyone drinks tea and chats on both sides of the ancient canal, and a picture of life in the alleys of the south of the Yangtze River is vividly displayed.

There is also a Qingming Bridge on the ancient canal, which is the oldest, largest and best-preserved single-hole stone bridge on the ancient canal in Wuxi. Built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, it has been more than 400 years since. Because it is an excellent location to shoot the ancient canal and enjoy the night view, many tourists gather on the bridge every day, becoming a beautiful scenery on Nanchang Street.

The misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River and the rippling blue waves in Taihu Lake constitute the beautiful Wuxi. Li Lake in Yufu Island, also known as Wuli Lake, is an inner lake where Taihu Lake extends into Wuxi. According to legend, at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, the doctor of Yue State traveled to Wuli Lake by boat with his teacher. Fisherman's Island is a small island extending to Lihu Lake. Live in seclusion with my teacher to raise fish in Wuli Lake. He wrote China's first monograph on fish culture, The Book of Fish Culture. People respectfully called him the fisherman, so his island was named Fisherman Island.

Sitting on the beach overlooking the lake, the breeze is blowing gently and sparkling, which is intoxicating. This is a good place for leisure and play, especially for children who like to play with sand. It is simply their paradise, and the most important thing is that the scenic spot is completely free.
