What elements do you need for a good portrait photography?

If you ask people who they think is the greatest nature photographer in history, most people will say such a name-ansel adams.

Adams doesn't shoot wild animals, and few of his photos are considered as macro photography. He never dives into the water without a camera, nor does he hide in a bunker (shooting birds). In fact, he didn't set foot in most areas of nature photography, but why did his works leave such a deep impression on us?

Adams is great not because of the exquisite photography skills and themes of his photos, but because of the visual impact of his photos, because he is good at describing scenery, cleverly arranging scenery elements and presenting beautiful scenes that can arouse people's emotional response to the audience. He let people appreciate not only the beautiful scenery, but also the awesome majesty of nature.
