How to shoot the vast vilen?

Yuan Ye, such as grasslands and plains, gives people the feeling of being far away, open and endless. Many scenic photos taken in these places will be rare scenic blockbusters. When shooting Yuan Ye, we should pay attention to finding scenes with a sense of form and the position of the horizon.

Lines on a metaleaf

Yuan Ye, especially the grassland, is always the same thing, as far as the eye can see, and photographers don't know what to shoot. If you can't find something concrete to shoot, you might as well find some abstract lines to express a form of beauty. For example, the marks left by the passing of wheels, the undulating lines of mountains, the winding lines of rivers, or the lines of the dividing line between light and shade formed by light and shadow. These lines can make the picture more formal and the photos will be unusual.

Using the lines of harvested crop stubble, the composition is made by the composition method of convergence line, and the perspective of near big and far small makes the picture more formal. When shooting, the lines are represented by a large area of the picture, leaving only a small area in the sky.

Form a picture with the horizon.

Shooting on the endless Yuan Ye is bound to capture the horizon. Proper use of the horizon can increase the artistic effect of the picture. The horizon can't be placed anywhere in the picture. According to the trine principle, 1/3 above and below the picture is the best position to place the horizon. Putting the horizon in these two positions will make the picture look more harmonious and conform to visual habits. If you put the horizon in the middle, it will give people a sense of fragmentation.

Whether it's 1/3 at the top or 1/3 at the bottom depends on what the photographer wants to express. For example, if the clouds or sunset glow in the sky are beautiful in a scene and the scenery on Yuan Ye is relatively simple, the horizon should be placed below 1/3, leaving more space to represent the clouds in the sky. On the other hand, if the sky is empty and the scenery on the Yuan Ye is more beautiful, we should set the horizon at 1/3 to show Yuan Ye with more pictures.

Of course, it doesn't have to be at 1/3, but it can be at 1/4 or 1/5 according to the shooting intention, as long as it is not in the center. Another thing to note is that the horizon must not be tilted, otherwise it will give people a feeling of instability.

Put the horizon in the upper part of the picture, and use more space to show the colorful rape flowers in the lower part, while the slightly monotonous mountains appear less in the picture.

Put the horizon at the bottom of the picture 1/5, and the sky will be blank, which can highlight the remoteness and emptiness of Yuan Ye.
