Going to Bangkok without going to the Grand Palace is like going to Beijing without going to the Forbidden City.

The Grand Palace, a magnificent and legendary palace, not only has splendid architectural art and culture, but also has a magical story brought by a jade Buddha. In order to explore your wonderful, I came. ...

1434, after a burst of lightning and thunder, a statue of Buddha covered with lime was found in a pagoda destroyed by lightning at the foot of Chiang Rai House, which seemed to be an ordinary clay statue of Buddha. Later, because the lime at the tip of the Buddha's nose peeled off, people "followed the trace" and a rare jade Buddha appeared in front of the world.

Chiang Rai is the capital of Thailand's northern border, bordering Myanmar in the northwest and Laos in the northeast. Here, the mountains and rivers are green, and it has a mysterious atmosphere that will last for a long time. The famous "Golden Triangle" is more than 40 kilometers north of Chiang Rai. Now the striking jade Buddha in the Jade Buddha Temple of Bangkok Grand Palace is said to be the one found in Chiang Rai Pagoda that year.

What's the story? We talked while swimming.

The Grand Palace, adjacent to the Chao Phraya River, was modeled after the old palace in the old capital. After Rama I, the founding monarch of Bangkok Dynasty, ascended the throne, he moved the capital from Tunwuli to Bangkok on the east bank of Chao Phraya River in 1782, and it has been continuously expanded from generation to generation, forming a magnificent grand palace complex.

A palace wall with a height of about 5 meters and a total length of 1900 meters surrounds the Grand Palace. The architectural style of the palace is mainly Siamese. The garden is full of green grass, flowers and trees.

After entering the door, you can see the golden dome of the palace opposite a large green lawn on the east side. It is understood that the Bangkok dynasty lived in the Grand Palace from Rama I to Rama VIII. After Rama VIII was stabbed in the Palace on 1946, Rama IX moved to the newly-built Gilada Palace in the east of the Grand Palace. At present, the Grand Palace is not only used for coronation ceremonies, court celebrations and other ceremonies and activities, but also open to the public at ordinary times, and has become a famous tourist attraction in Thailand.

The scenic spots opened by the Grand Palace are concentrated in the northeast corner. When it comes to this big platform, everyone feels that their eyesight is not enough! The buildings inside are magnificent and very concentrated. It's really spectacular

Here, the three buildings, Ledana stupa, Jingta and Bilong Temple, which are arranged side by side from west to east, are broken down one by one.

Ledana stupa was built by Rama IV to collect the sternum relics of the Buddha. The gold piece outside the tower was later pasted by Rama V. The luster of pure gold made this round tower full of arc beauty transparent and majestic in softness, shining in the sun, which was particularly eye-catching, and thus became a landmark building of the Grand Palace.

The tower body has protruding parts in four directions, with a tower cage and a small tower on it. Inside the stupa, there is another small golden pagoda dedicated to the stupa.

Located in the middle of the platform, the "Tibetan Scripture Building" was built in the first emperor, which is even older. Buddhist scripture building is a Cambodian-style building, supported by dozens of huge golden pillars. There is a Buddhist scripture made of gold in the Buddhist scripture building. Looking up from the bottom of the sutra building, you can't see the spire above, only the golden pillars below.

There is also a small and lifelike model of Angkor Wat next to the Buddhist Sutra Building, which is full of Cambodian customs. A little boy sat on his father's shoulder and looked at it curiously.

The building with red cornices on the east side and a tower on the top is the "Bilong Temple of Heaven". Bilong Temple is a cross-shaped, Cambodian-style tower, also known as Khmer Tower. Around the temple 12 corner columns, the top of which are decorated with lotus flowers. Therefore, it is also called Xianwang Temple, which contains a memorial statue of Emperor Rama I to V, and it is only opened on April 6 every year.

There are two golden Buddha pagodas in front of the temple, which were built by Rama I in memory of his parents. There are 20 monkeys at the bottom of the pagodas. Unfortunately, there were too many people to get a panoramic view at all, so we had to borrow a panoramic view from the Internet (the picture below is from the Internet).

Tota's monkeys are very attractive. Look, they raised their hands and tried to hold the tower. It was ferocious and lifelike!

After seeing these three magnificent buildings, you should go to the Jade Buddha Temple to see the Jade Buddha.

It is said that when the jade Buddha was discovered in Chiang Rai, it alarmed the neighboring Chiang Mai Lord, who ordered the jade Buddha to be invited to worship in Chiang Mai. The elephant that can transport the jade Buddha didn't give him face. When he came to the fork in the road between Chiang Mai and Nanbangcheng, he suddenly ignored the command and turned to the road to Nanbangcheng. ...

The Lord of Chiang Mai wanted to worship the Jade Buddha in Nanbang City for more than 30 years, and then another Lord invited him from Nanbang City to worship in Chiang Mai, where he was stored for 84 years.

When King Chaiyakto became the Lord of Chiang Mai, there was a battle for the throne in Luanba Cheng Bang (now Laos). Chai Yaque asked the king to lead his troops to Pingding, 1552 greeted the Jade Buddha to worship in Luanba, and then to worship in Vientiane. Jade Buddha has been worshipped in Laos for 226 years.

1778, Wu Li was swallowed, Rama I of Bangkok dynasty became a general, led the army to the north, conquered Vientiane, and greeted the Jade Buddha to worship at Liming Temple. After Rama I established a new capital in Bangkok, he welcomed the Jade Buddha to the Jade Buddha Temple in 1784.

Speaking of which, it's really time to go to the Jade Buddha Temple to see the beauty of this venerable and mysterious jade Buddha.

Jade Buddha Temple, built in 1784, is the most famous Buddhist temple in Thailand and one of Thailand's three national treasures, with an area of about 1/4 of the Grand Palace. At the top of the temple, there are triple wooden double eaves, the roof is towering, the eaves hang down, the blue tiles are inlaid with red and yellow frames, and the eaves are decorated with faucet, dragon forest and phoenix tail. The outer walls and four-corner columns of the temple are decorated with colored glass sheets, which shine like colored scales in the sun and are dazzling.

Daxiong Hall is dedicated to the Jade Buddha. You are not allowed to take photos. You can only look at it with telephoto before you can enter the hall.

Jade Buddha is carved from a whole piece of jade, with a green body, a width of 43.8 cm and a height of 66 cm. It sits on a golden altar with a height of 1 1 m, with hands leaning back, abdomen facing down, right hand on left hand, and a crown on its head.

According to the hot, rainy and cool seasons in Thailand, the royal family made three-season tapestries for the Jade Buddha. The ceremony of changing brocade for the jade Buddha in accordance with the season must be presided over by the king himself on an auspicious day in order to protect the country and defend the country. During the farming season in May every year, the king will also preside over a ceremony in front of the Jade Buddha to pray for a bumper harvest. (The picture below is from the network)

I still feel the majesty of the Jade Buddha Temple and the magical auspicious feeling of the Jade Buddha. A "Chakri Group" combining Tessie is in sight.

Chakri Group is the largest royal palace in the Grand Palace, which was built during the reign of Rama V. 1876. Rama V received English education from childhood and spoke fluent English. He ascended the throne at 16 years old. After he succeeded to the throne, he visited many European countries and was deeply influenced by western culture. He is regarded as the founder of modern Thailand.

"Ji Jie" means "God Plate" and "Emperor", and it is also the name of Bangkok dynasty. The basic structure of this hall belongs to the Victorian architectural art of the Queen of England, but there are three square spires belonging to traditional Thai architecture at the top of the hall, which is a model of the perfect combination of the essence of Taixi architectural art.

……

The trip to the Grand Palace left a complete memory.

I am deeply moved by the fact that Thai artists, by combining rich imagination, realism and romanticism, have gathered the achievements of architecture, painting, sculpture and decorative arts of the early dynasties in Thailand and absorbed the essence of Asian and European culture, making the Grand Palace the most perfect, largest and national palace in the history of Thai architecture, and a wonderful flower in the history of world architecture and art.

And Thai people's belief in Buddhism. It is said that Bangkok has the largest number of Buddhist temples in the world, with more than 400 large and small Buddhist temples. The meaning of "Bangkok" itself includes the meaning of "Buddhist capital". Thailand is also the country with the largest proportion of Buddhist population, with more than 90% people in the country believing in Buddhism.

Time is always in such a hurry that the excitement can only be kept in my heart. Finally, I look back at the Grand Palace from this door and really don't want to say goodbye to you.
