In the limited basic knowledge of photography I have learned, I will share it in series on the Internet, and at the same time I will have a deeper understanding. I also hope that readers can gain a little knowledge.
The first six contents of photography basics are shared in the short articles of 1 and1/(2)/(3) on February 26th, 23/24, respectively:
1. What is a composition and what is its purpose? Simply put, it is to make a photo look good in overall layout and reasonable in structure.
Second, the center of interest, that is, what do you want to express in the photo? People, scenery, things, etc. Are you interested in photographing people, landscapes or other things? So a good photographer needs good observation and imagination.
Third, photography is subtraction, that is, don't put all the contents on one photo. Too many key points just don't have key points. One more thing: drawing is addition, adding colors, pictures and so on. A blank sheet of paper.
Fourth, the subject and companion in the photo, that is, there is a prominent person or scene and an auxiliary person or scene in a photo, so the purpose of shooting is to make the prominent content more prominent. Compared with the prominent subject, other contents play a foil role in order to set off the subject.
5. The direction of blank space and landscape. There are two meanings here: 1. Too many people or scenery can't fit in a photo. If you are too full, you will feel oppressed and even nervous. Of course, the same is true of being a man. Don't talk too much. 2. The direction of the photo, that is, where the subject is placed in the picture, and the space left in the front, back, left and right directions will make the photo express the emotions of the characters and resonate with the people who look at the photo.
Six, five common composition methods. These five composition methods will help you communicate and make your photos look beautiful and enjoyable. Yesterday, I shared: 1 and the three-point line composition method (that is, Jiugongge composition); 2. Golden section composition (0.618); 3. Symmetric composition method (up, down, left and right can be symmetrical); 4. Variational composition (the picture is dynamic and dynamic, which is different from the first three); 5. Triangle composition method (the composition of photos presents different triangles)
Today we will share the seventh content, the expression of the sense of space.
Seven: Three ways to express the sense of space
1, express a sense of space by saying goodbye.
In other words, a photo needs different levels of scenery, foreground, middle scene, background and other different levels of performance, in order to make the picture feel richer and more stereoscopic visually.
The foreground is different from the characters or scenery to be expressed in the picture. Mid shot is the center of a photo, which is also the photographer's interest center. The background is related to the center of interest to be expressed.
In the following photo, the foreground is Binhai Avenue, which is different from the middle scene. Mid shot is the "Spring Cocoon" Gymnasium and the "Spring Bamboo Shoots" Building in Shenzhen Bay, and it is the center of interest that photographers want to express. The background is the sky, clouds and ocean, which are interrelated with the middle scene and form a natural and cultural landscape with architecture and sea and sky.
In the picture below, the foreground is the road; Mid shot is a group of people rushing to work in the morning; The background is the rising sun in the morning.
Reasonable layout and ingenious composition will enhance the sense of space. As shown in the figure below:
2. Express the sense of space with vanishing lines.
Using the contrast between reality and reality to enrich the picture level, the most common is the vanishing line, that is, the line gradually drifting away, from near to far, from clear real scene to distant blurred picture.
As shown below: The clear road in the vicinity stretches into the distant sky, as if meeting. ...
Tips:
The vanishing line is represented by ultra-wide angle; Low-angle shooting can show exaggerated pictures.
3. Use thick, thin, thick and light lines similar to those in painting to express the sense of hierarchy.
As shown in the following figure, the nearby mountains are represented by heavy realistic pen and ink, while the distant mountains are represented by relatively light vague pen and ink, which has a strong sense of hierarchy and shows rich hierarchical contents such as people, water, mountains, sky and sun.
Tips:
Thickness and shade can be true, and the large aperture of the camera can also be true. If you want to shoot people, you can use "smoke cakes" (which are sold on a treasure and the price is very beautiful) to create a sense of space. When shooting people, in order to show the layering of reality and distance, you can put a little cigarette cake behind the people, which can play the role of the people in the fog around Yunshan. However, please be sure to pay attention to the fact that it is in a place where there are no trees outdoors, and the amount must be small, otherwise it will easily cause a fire.
Let's share it here today, hahaha, in fact, I know so much so far. The photography foundation of this series will be constantly updated in the future.
