How does Mr. Maya render a clear

Maya's method to improve image quality;

By adjusting the sampling quality in the scene, sampling specific objects (Maya software renderer) or reducing defects and flicker, the quality of the rendered image can be improved.

Adjust the anti-aliasing parameters of the scene

Maya software renderer: Maya separates the edge sawtooth parameters from the coloring sawtooth parameters, thus better controlling the image quality and performance.

Arnold for Maya renderer

Maya hardware 2.0 renderer: select renderer >; Viewport 2.0 "(renderer > viewport 2.0) >? & gt Anti-aliasing Enables multi-sample anti-aliasing or smooth wireframes.

Adjust the antialiasing parameters of each object.

Only applicable to Maya software renderer.

By increasing the number of visibility samples in the property editor of the selected object, the flicker of very small objects can be corrected.

Reduce defects and flicker

Only applicable to Maya software renderer.

Unlike the anti-aliasing method, in the rendering settings window, defects and flicker cannot be reduced by adjusting the settings. However, you can fix shadow defects, clipping plane defects or animation flicker independently.

Shadow defect

The shadow of ray tracing is easily affected by the end effect, which is the shadow error caused by subdivision (similar to a triangle with a smooth surface). To fix ray tracing shadow defects, increase subdivision.

Clipping plane defect

Clipping the plane helps Maya determine the distance of the object relative to the camera. By default, the camera enables automatic rendering of clip planes so that Maya can sort the geometry as accurately as possible. If the objects seem to penetrate each other, turn off Auto Rendering Clipping Plane and set Close to Clipping Plane to 1.0.

Animation flicker

Maya will filter the texture when rendering. If the texture flashes or moves slowly frame by frame along the object in the scene, you can consider using a lower resolution file texture; Alternatively, if you are not using a file texture, adjust the filter settings in the Effects area of the Texture Attribute Editor.
