Wonderland on earth, Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is 1.240 meters wide, with an average drop of 55 meters and a maximum flow of 6,700 cubic meters per second, nearly three times that of the Yellow River. The middle of the waterfall is separated by luna Island and Gothic Island, which are 350 meters wide, forming three waterfalls. One is near Gothic Island, and the water surface is only110 of the American waterfall, which is called Bridal Veil Waterfall. The third paragraph is between Gotham Island and Canada. Because its water surface is horseshoe-shaped, it is called horseshoe waterfall, also known as Canadian waterfall, which is 56 meters high and about 670 meters long.

Niagara Falls has been retreating since its formation. Niagara Falls has retreated nearly 900 meters for thousands of years. The upper layer of Niagara Falls is hard dolomite and the lower layer is shale. Under the constant scouring of water, the shale in the lower part of the waterfall rock stratum is hollowed out continuously, and the dolomite in the upper part of the waterfall rock stratum collapses and retreats because of the loss of support.

To see the panoramic view of the waterfall, the ideal place is to stand on the rainbow bridge. The bridge spans niagara river at the lower reaches of the waterfall, and it takes 5 minutes to walk from the United States to Canada. Therefore, Rainbow Bridge won the reputation of "honeymoon trail". Visitors who want to look up at the waterfall can take the elevator down the valley from the watchtower on the American side and take the cruise ship "Girl's Fog".
