Chongqing's "network celebrity community" is 24 stories high, but there is no elevator. You can watch the Yangtze River cableway cross the building.
This magical building is called Baixiangju, which is located in white elephant street, Yuzhong District. From a distance, it looks like a tangled tree growing on the edge of a cliff. Built in 1992, with a total of 540 houses. Its shape is similar to a Rubik's cube. There is no elevator in the 24-story residential building, but the building that no one has protested is actually a mystery. As we all know, Chongqing, as a mountain city, is built on the mountain, and Baixiangju makes perfect use of its unique geographical position. There are three exits in the whole building, which lead to different directions through three different floors, located at 1 floor,1floor and1floor. Among them, 1 floor leads to the Yangtze River binjiang road, 10 floor leads to white elephant street, and 15 floor leads to Jiefang East Road. So although there is no elevator, it is more convenient for residents to climb stairs. The entrance platform in the middle is the parking lot of the residential building, and the number is set according to white elephant street, so that people will not get lost too easily.
There is a space corridor between the buildings of Baixiangju, which is labyrinth design and extends in all directions. Seeing the scenery of Chongqing from different perspectives on different floors of Baixiangju actually has different tastes. In the residential building, you can see the Dongshuimen Bridge on the Yangtze River, and you can also enjoy the Yangtze River cableway that shuttles through it. Even because the distance is too close, you can clearly see the expressions of passengers in the cable car. The platform of Baixiangju has a wide field of vision, which is an excellent position to see the river view, and you can deeply feel the three-dimensional scene of Chongqing built on the mountain. Baixiangju is unique, and now it has become a punching place for online celebrities in Chongqing. The film "Hot Pot Hero" was shot in this residential building, and it was also the propaganda of the film that made it popular overnight. Some people describe it as a realistic version of "Chongqing Forest".
Outside the building where the white elephant lives, it looks full of sense of time, and the years have left deep mottled marks on it. It looks shabby and narrow, and it smells of old Chongqing everywhere. Every household is close and the neighborhood is close, so it is common to visit each other. Old people often gather in the corridor to chat and play cards, which makes them uncomfortable and the surrounding facilities are complete. Hospitals, primary schools, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications and various shopping malls are not far away, so even if there is no elevator, the life of residents here is very convenient.
A road, a building, an elevator and even a corner in Chongqing have its unique charm and cannot be copied, only in Chongqing, which is full of fireworks. Baixiangju is one of the best, and the residential buildings with retro flavor are becoming more and more popular now. I don't know if I will go to Baixiangju to get a card when I travel to Chongqing.
