Wu Chu Temple on Dapingshan Mountain was built in 639 AD and is one of the four famous Buddhist temples in Pingxiang. According to legend, Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, was trapped here, and his mother was buried in the mountains. The poem "Purple Bamboo Forest in the South China Sea, Square Bamboo Mountain in Wufeng Mountain" written by scholars such as Fushou Temple and Huang Tingjian still exists today. Daping Mountain is located in the middle of Luo Xiao Mountains. It started in Yang Qi scenic spot, the southern religious site of Buddhism, and went to Liling in the west, passing through Pingxiang and Liling. It is also said that Zhu Yuanzhang, the mother and son of Ming Taizu, once fled here, and there is a tombstone of Zhu Yuanzhang's mother in front of the temple, so it is also called "Huang Jue Temple". There are also many historical sites, such as Xiangshan Temple in the north of the mountain, Shifo Temple in the east of Shandong, Gongpeng Jingxiu Fairy Palace and ancient villages in the Qing Dynasty. There are a group of strange rocks under the main peak of Tianbao Building, among which are the pneumatic stones of frogs and the stones of cats, the wine and olives of immortals on the left, the pig's head carrying Yin Shi on the right and the immortal stones of squirrels on the west, all of which are lifelike. There are also Luohan Stone, Dragon Head Stone, Drum Stone, General Stone, Zhang Qian Cliff and Jiguan Cliff. Many ancient trees have been preserved on the mountain, such as Cooper in Gu Song since the Tang Dynasty and Luohansong in the Ming Dynasty, as well as dozens of wild fruits, hundreds of wild flowers and many kinds of Chinese herbal medicines. Being in the mountains, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant, which makes people feel relaxed and happy.
