Salute to the Master —— Thoughts on Reading Zhang Yimou's Homework

Last night, the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games was also successfully concluded. The last time the torch was lit, it made people cry. . . Following the successful director of the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics and Paralympics were beautiful, shocking the world and making China people proud.

Recently, I read Zhang Yimou's homework with curiosity and exploration. Although this book was published ten years ago, it still lets us know more about this legendary master through rich details! Zhang Yimou, who is diligent, hardworking and extremely self-disciplined, is on the page. After reading it, I can't help but sigh that the success of the master seems to be accidental, but in fact it is more inevitable! !

Tell me the most impressive points.

First, practice hard. The process of Zhang Yimou's going to college was not full of twists and turns. He made full use of his time to study when he was a worker in Xianyang No.8 National Cotton Mill before going to college. In his spare time, he studied photography knowledge. He copied photography knowledge for three years and copied hundreds of thousands of words by hand. He believes that "it is better to pass by once than to pass by a thousand times." He went out to shoot in the field on weekends, and in order to take good photos, he ran to the top of Huashan Mountain early in the morning. . . He pursues exquisite composition and production. Perhaps one of the reasons for his success is that he is willing to work hard to make himself a tool as soon as possible.

Second, keep learning. Zhang Yimou University majored in photography, but he didn't stop at photography. Of course, the starting point at first was a bit realistic. Since his junior year, he has borrowed the director's books from four lists to teach himself. I spent the last two years in these books. Although it is no longer handwritten as before, notes will be taken in important places. So everything in life has its inevitability. Without these foundations, I'm afraid we might not see Zhang Dao now.

Third, continue to pursue. Zhang Yimou's success is one of the best in China, not to mention that he directed the opening ceremonies of two Olympic Games. One sentence in the book left a deep impression on me. "For more than 20 years, I deeply remember this sentence of Kurosawa. I can't compare with the master, but I am also learning to make movies. " Probably, the more successful people are, the higher their requirements will be, and the more they feel that they need to learn. On the contrary, some people with shallow knowledge and low ability have no correct understanding of themselves and feel that they know everything and are arrogant.

All kinds of face-to-face, all kinds of persistence, all kinds of lifelessness. This is the most important secret of the success of a generation of masters. As we all know, when Zhang Yimou was over 70 years old, he didn't lie on the credit book, but always maintained an abundant state and a tense rhythm. He only sleeps for a few hours every day and thinks about work for decades. I don't eat much every day, and I still walk 5 kilometers every day. This gives us ordinary people and young people no reason not to work hard.

By the way, I recommend that you watch the Zhang Yimou 2008 documentary again. I want to see it, too:)

In this essay, I pay tribute to a generation of masters!
