Photo Notes 17- What is Tolerance? How to deal with the low tolerance of the camera?

Tolerance refers to the brightness contrast range of the adapted scene. The human eye has low tolerance and high tolerance, so the bright place can still be seen clearly, but the camera will lose some details and the film machine is likely to be bright.

To solve the problem of insufficient tolerance, we must mention a concept-HDR.

HDR means high dynamic range, that is, high tolerance, so that white places are not dead white, black places are not dead black, and as many details as possible are preserved.

The principle is to take several photos with different exposures at the same time and superimpose them together. The bright part is the bright part with good details, the dark part is the dark part with good details, and finally one is synthesized.

Regardless of pre-shooting or post-shooting, HDR mode is basically equipped now. Reasonable use can keep more details of photos, not for HDR.
