How to set the parameters if you want to shoot the moon?
The longer the focal length of the lens, the closer the moon can be pulled, and the greater the proportion of the moon can be obtained. When shooting with a SLR camera, a lens with a size of more than 300mm can achieve relatively good results. Of course, a longer focal length makes it easier to photograph the details of the moon's surface.
If you don't have a lens with a particularly long focal length, such as a 200mm lens, you can make do with an apsc camera, because the equivalent focal length factor 1.5 can visually enlarge the moon (the actual focal length has not changed).
Second, control the exposure reasonably.
When shooting the moon, you should pay attention to the following aspects when setting exposure parameters:
1, use a smaller aperture. Don't open the aperture too much, because it looks like it was taken in the dark at night, but the brightness of the moon itself is not low. If you use a very large aperture, the picture quality is not necessarily the best. It is best to use the best aperture range from f8 to f 16.
2. The lower the sensitivity, the better. You don't need to set a particularly high sensitivity to shoot the moon, which is generally in the range of iso 100 to 400. Too high sensitivity will reduce the details of the picture.
3. The shutter speed should not be too slow. When shooting the moon, you can set the shutter speed appropriately according to the photometry, but the air speed of the moon in the sky is relatively fast, so you can't set the shutter speed too slowly. Generally, the shutter speed should be set above 1/30 seconds. If you use a slow door, it is easy to shoot the effect of motion blur.
4. Use spot metering. Camera metering, preferably spot metering, can be more accurate metering.
Third, use a tripod.
In order to capture the details of the moon more clearly, a tripod is essential. Because it is difficult to suppress the blur caused by hand shaking when holding telephoto, it is difficult to take a clear picture of the moon if the shutter speed is lower than the safety shutter. In addition, it is very convenient to lock the composition and focus accurately on the tripod, but it is not easy to control it by hand.
Fourth, use manual focusing.
Taking the moon as the theme, autofocus doesn't make any sense. Generally, manual focusing is adopted, which can lock the focus well and focus accurately. When manual focusing is used in general SLR cameras, it is difficult for the optical viewfinder to determine the focus. At this time, it is necessary to turn on the lv live view function of the SLR, enlarge the focal length, carefully check the focal length with the screen, and manually twist the focus ring until the focal length is clear.
Fifth, shooting in raw format.
It is necessary to shoot the moon in raw format. Because it is convenient to adjust the photo parameters later, such as white balance, exposure, etc., raw is more tolerant, and post-retouching is more advantageous than jpeg.
