Matters needing attention when boarding a plane with a computer camera
First of all, according to airline regulations, cameras do not belong to any kind of contraband, and tourists can carry them with them. However, because cameras are usually equipped with special items such as batteries, there may be some danger. Therefore, to be on the safe side, the battery of the camera must be carried by tourists and cannot be checked.
It is also very important that, just like using a mobile phone, the passenger's camera can't be turned on during the flight, which means that the camera can be carried, but it can't be used halfway.
Passengers carrying lithium batteries should pay attention to the following matters when flying.
The rated energy of lithium-ion batteries should not exceed 160Wh. If it exceeds 160Wh, it should be transported through the dangerous goods procedure.
Devices containing lithium-ion batteries (such as laptops, cameras, camcorders, etc.). ) should be carried and transported according to the following regulations: it can be carried in checked baggage or carry-on baggage. Measures should be taken to prevent accidental startup. The rated power of the battery shall not exceed 100Wh. Airborne lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 100Wh (excluding) to 160Wh (including) must be approved by the operator (airline).
Spare lithium-ion batteries should be carried according to the following regulations: only in hand luggage. In order to prevent short circuit, it should be protected separately, or spare batteries should be put in the original retail packaging, or the electrodes should be insulated. If the exposed electrodes are glued with adhesive tape, they should be packaged separately with adhesive tape or protective bag. Lithium battery with capacity less than 100Wh.
With the consent of the operator (airline), spare lithium-ion batteries from 100Wh to 160Wh (excluding) can be carried, but no more than 2 batteries are allowed. At present, the battery used in digital cameras does not exceed 100Wh, and the maximum capacity of general digital cameras is within 20Wh.
