How to shoot a dreamy effect with a lens?

Background is one of the most important parts of photography. Many photographers like to try different effects of the background, and shooting is one of them. Let's take a look at what effect can be made with image shot and how to shoot it.

First, choose the theme photo to take.

Basically, the lens is a feature of the aesthetic quality of the blurred or out-of-focus area of a photo, which is most common in photos with shallow depth of field and high background contrast. There are good and bad shots. Technically speaking, the quality of shooting depends on the aperture and aberration of the lens, but it also depends on the photographer's personal taste to a great extent.

Traditionally, the purpose of shooting is to make the background uniform and blurred without distracting the subject. Later, we will discuss how to deviate from this rule slightly.

Second, do a lens modeling.

The shape of the lens depends on the shape of the aperture opening, and it is not difficult to change the way we want. An operation that can be completed in just a few simple steps.

1. First, we will collect the necessary materials. We need a thick paper, a pencil, a pair of scissors, a knife and a large aperture lens, so that we can shoot with a shallow depth of field.

2. Put the lens face down vertically on a piece of paper, and trace it with a pencil within the lens diameter. You can also use the ultraviolet filter of the lens. The idea is to draw a circle with the same diameter as the lens on the paper.

Cut out the circle and leave a small label, so that you can easily take it off the lens.

Draw something about 15mm wide in the center of the tangent circle, and then carefully cut it off with a knife. When cutting, please make sure the edges are smooth and straight, otherwise these irregularities may appear in the photo.

Finally, insert the generated circle into a lens or UV filter and press it as close as possible to the objective lens. It should be close to the rim without tape reinforcement. Make sure to cover the whole lens surface to prevent the edge from "light leakage".

Third, the shooting skills of scattered scenes

Pick up the zoom filter and camera, and then find the right light to shoot:

1. For maximum depth of field, please use the maximum aperture.

2. Choose a background with bright background and dark shadow, such as bright lights and dark branches on the Christmas tree.

Please put the camera as close as possible to the subject to get a clear focus and keep the background light far enough from the focus. The viewfinder displays the shooting scene completely according to the shooting scene, avoiding speculation and hesitation when shooting. Just adjust the focal length as needed and press the shutter button.

4. Use the shooting shape consistent with the subject. Blurred background doesn't mean that photographers should ignore it-it is still a part of the photo, and try to make full use of the background to improve the quality of the photo.

You can take shots all year round, and different shots can be taken with different lights and themes.
