1. Both men and women who require marriage registration should apply to the marriage registration office of the district or county civil affairs bureau with the required documents.

2. Both parties apply to the marriage registration authority in person, and each party fills in a Declaration of Application for Marriage Registration.

3. Both parties must personally sign or fingerprint the "declarant" column in the Declaration of Application for Marriage Registration in front of the marriage registrar.

4. The marriage registration authority examines the documents and statements submitted by both parties, and if they meet the requirements for marriage registration, they are allowed to register.

Processing materials

1. Identity cards of both parties;

2. Original household registration book (active servicemen: ID card, military certificate and military marriage registration certificate issued by the army);

3. Mainland marriage: the original valid household registration book and ID card of both parties, and 3 recent 2-inch half-length bareheaded photos;
