How to take a good look at children

Before we talk about it, let's understand the importance of vision. Vision is a high light spot formed on the iris of human eyes through illumination. If people want to be vivid, they should describe their eyes as the windows of the soul, and eye facula is the focus of people's photography. In the process of portrait photography, in order to make the photos infectious, it is necessary to ensure that the eyes of the characters are in focus and shoot bright spots.

Eye spots are produced by auxiliary light irradiation in front of the subject, and there are many lights and eye spots. If there are too many bright spots in your eyes, your eyes will be distracted. Pay attention when shooting, it is best to have only one or two points.

In principle, the subject is not exposed to light, that is, no eye spots are produced. For example, if you shoot people outdoors, if you use backlight, there will be no direct light in front of you, and there will be no eye spots; If you use a reflector or flash as an auxiliary light, eye spots will appear on your eyes.

The eye spot should not be too big, and the size of the eye spot is related to the intensity and distance of the auxiliary light in front of the subject. Strong lighting, close distance and big eyes; When the light is weak and the distance is close, the spot in the eye is small. Too many spots, just like suffering from cataracts, have the side effect of weakening the eyes.

If you want to shoot a person's eye light well, you must master the role of eye position in expressing emotions. The position of the eye point depends on the angle of the auxiliary light in front of the object. When the light is high, the spot position moves up; When the light is dark, the spot position moves down. If the light spot of the eye is right in the middle of the pupil, it will feel dull when you look at it. The position of eye light should be consistent with the photographer's line of sight, and it is generally better to deviate from the center of the pupil.

In order to show good eye spots, it is necessary to avoid spots on the whites of eyes. If the sub-light in front of the subject is too cheap and leans to the left and right, it is not eye spots, but annoying long spots on the whites of the eyes, which will affect the beauty of the eyes. In this case, this phenomenon can be eliminated by changing the auxiliary lamp to a suitable position.

Take a good look at the characters' eyes and be good at guiding them. The documentary creation completed by children photographers in an instant makes people's eyes "grasp accurately, accurately, firmly", which largely depends on the photographer's guidance to the subject. Photographers should adopt different guidance methods according to different subjects, so that the subjects can get rid of the strangeness, bondage and fear brought by the shooting environment and restore their "natural state".

There are two ways to guide the eyes of children of different ages:

1, heuristic-this guidance method is generally suitable for children aged 7- 12. Photographers can help their subjects get rid of their nervousness through conversation and let them enter an emotional realm that conforms to their nature, temperament and posture.

2, attractive-this guidance method is especially suitable for small babies.
