Brief introduction of Shiyan town

Shiyan Town, Dongtai City, the hometown of Feng Daoli, a famous hydraulic scientist in Qing Dynasty, is located in He Lixia water town in the middle of Jiangsu Plain, at the junction of Dongtai, Nantong and Taizhou, and is built according to the provincial third-class waterway Taidongjiang. With a total area of 102.29 square kilometers and a population of 7 1500, it is one of the famous ancient market towns in He Lixia, famous for its special steel tools and one of the three cities and seven towns in the stainless steel industrial cluster. Agriculture is dominated by cotton, rice, wheat and rape.
