Xinlongmen Inn 1

Produced by Tsui Hark and directed jointly by Li Huimin and Cheng Xiaodong, Xinlongmen Inn brings together stars such as Tony Leung Ka Fai, Brigitte Lin, Maggie Cheung and Donnie Yen. It is the best new martial arts film in Hong Kong. The film tells the story of a treacherous encounter between the Wulin knight-errant and the East Factory master in Longmen Inn in the desert after saving Zhongliang in the middle of Ming Dynasty.

2. Dong Fangbubai in the legendary swordsman

Dong Fangbubai is a kung fu film directed by Cheng Xiaodong and starring Jet Li, Brigitte Lin, Rosamund Kwan and Michelle monique Rice. It was released in Hongkong, China on June 26th, 1992.

This film is adapted from the novel the legendary swordsman edited by Jin Yong. It tells the story that Gu Chong and Dong Fangbubai gradually developed feelings after several encounters. When Gu Chong found out that Dong Fangbubai had killed his other disciples, he went to Dong Fangbubai for revenge.

3. Top Gun of Huang Feihong

Huang Feihong's Top Gun is a martial arts action film directed by Tsui Hark and starring Jet Li, Rosamund Kwan, Ren Shiguan, Yuan Biao, Zheng Zeshi, Jacky Cheung, Oh Mom and Liu Shun. The film was released in China on August 199 1 and in the United States on May 2 1 992.

The film tells the story of Huang Feihong, a Foshan martial artist who taught martial arts in the late Qing Dynasty. Seeing that foreigners were rampant, the government dragged on and the people suffered, he rebelled against foreigners and embarked on the road of saving the country and the people.

4. Tai Zhang Chi Sanfeng

Thai Zhang Chi Sanfeng is a martial arts action film jointly produced by China Film Co-production Company and Zhengdong Production Co., Ltd., directed by Yuan Heping, written by Kwong Kim Yip and co-starred by Jet Li, Yang Ziqiong, Siu-ho Chin and Fennie Yuen.

The film tells the feud between Dong Tianbao, Xiao Winter Melon and Qiu Xue under the background of eunuchs playing politics at the end of Yuan Dynasty. During this period, Zhang Junbao eventually grew into the story of Zhang Sanfeng.

5. Fang Shiyu

Fang Shiyu is a martial arts action film directed by Yuan Kui and starring Jet Li, Michelle monique Rice, Xiao Fangfang and Chiu Man-Cheuk. The film tells the story of Wan's rich children who went to the execution ground alone to save their father on the Red Cross roster and then joined the Red Cross.
