Shi Ziwei

Shi: Photography is a very important part of my life. It lets me know how to treat life, how to talk, how to walk and how to express my feelings for nature. Some people say that creation needs to be able to withstand loneliness. I have a different idea. I don't feel lonely at all with my camera around. They are like my closest family. You see, I never leave my body. Stone takes out a small digital camera from his waist. Shi: Of course, if you don't believe me, it was this little "fool" who took the picture that won the Oscar. The scenery in the series of photos in the window often needs to walk in front of the window, so it is inconvenient to use a big camera. In order to avoid affecting the store business and improve the success rate of snapshot, I observed the picture, shooting distance and angle in advance before shooting, and used the methods of average metering mode, aperture priority and autofocus mode (internal point focusing).

Make an accurate judgment on the brightness and contrast of the picture you want to shoot in advance, so as to adjust the exposure compensation and strive for a quick and successful snapshot. In order to shoot the scenery in the window, I walk on the streets of Fuzhou almost every day, because every time the style changes and the clothes change, the effect is different. Shi: Although I am an amateur photographer, I love photography as much as other professional photographers. I devote all my spare time and energy to photography. Moreover, I like photography and painting since I was a child. In high school, I often borrowed my friend's camera. At that time, cameras could only use film. Because it's expensive, I only borrow it occasionally. Later, I went to the countryside. Because of my artistic expertise, I have been engaged in propaganda work, taking photos, making slides and showing movies.

After two and a half years in the countryside, I joined the Propaganda Department of Changchun 8 102 1 Army Political Department as a special recruit, and also did propaganda work. Although photography used to be a job requirement, my love for photography never stopped. So when I started amateur photography in the early days of 1999, the camera was no stranger to me, and photography was not difficult for me. Since then, many of my works have been published in many professional journals such as China Photography. And in the first year of my creation, one of my works won an award in the national exhibition. Shi: I am a perfectionist. I feel that everything around me is full of gorgeous colors, so when I look at things, I often see the bright side of things and ignore sadness. At the same time, I also apply this optimistic and positive attitude to photography. You see, most of my works are beautiful, not perfect, but at least people have a good feeling and a happy mood when they appreciate them.

Shi: In my eyes, life can't always be smooth sailing, there are always ups and downs, and the most important thing is a calm heart. I like a beautiful career and am good at finding beauty in a troubled world. I won't avoid difficulties, but I won't be afraid. I will solve the problem with a positive attitude. This is my principle in dealing with people. I think it is this optimistic personality that makes me happy and allows me to explore the best moments in the most ordinary world.

In September, the autumn wind caressed my face and it was chilly. Shi is going to Qinghai to receive the prize. When the reporter asked about his future plans, he said, "Art is endless. I like photography, and I will keep doing it until I can't walk or take the camera. " Shi's Flowers Are Not Flowers

Stone: In the golden age, one of the flowers in the series was not a flower, but also one of the works of the Academy Awards. Some people say that sunflowers like Van Gogh have excellent decorative effects.

Computer production?

Shi: Actually, they are a misunderstanding. There are many works here. Two-thirds of my albums are exposed many times, and one-third is shot at one time. There is no computer or darkroom. For example, when I first took this picture, there were no flowers, and I painted the background. I designed it in advance, and then took the camera to find my theme. If I think this flower is beautiful, I will put a black cloth behind it and expose it for the second time. Generally speaking, it is simply two exposures, actually three exposures, this blooming lotus and the ghosting. I put it on one screen with two exposures and one background exposure instead of three exposures. Simply put, it is the process of darkroom processing and computer processing. I did it all at once while shooting. You had this picture in your head before you took it.

Shi: Because I use a 135 camera, its observation mirror is very small. To exaggerate, if the position I look at in the observation mirror is 1 cm difference, the photo I took may be 10 cm difference. Like this, it's very difficult to shoot. I took about six photos according to my sensory memory, only one was selected, and both sides of the photo were blocked. I drew a background before shooting, but there were no flowers at that time. Just this picture, then I aimed at my picture for the first exposure, and then I found my ideal flower. I think these two chrysanthemums are more suitable, and then when I shoot, I put black behind the main body of my flower. Just leave out what I need, and remove what I don't need through black cloth. The most difficult thing is to cover the front of the flower during the shooting. If it is not covered, the flower stems and stems will be exposed after shooting, which is not true, because my whole picture is to achieve the effect of freehand brushwork in Chinese painting. Shi: At that time, when I was filming, I studied fine arts myself, but my fine arts and photography are the same, and they are also hobbies, and I didn't graduate from the same class. At that time, I thought, can you integrate art into photography? I tried it once. I went to the park to shoot tulips, which were really beautiful and fresh in color, but the growth was monotonous and difficult. Later, I tried to wipe a few lines and strokes on a piece of black paper with chalk of various colors, and then I took the black paper to the park to see it. It was a good flower. Then I aimed at my colored black paper and took a photo. I put this black cloth behind the flower again, and then I took another picture and exposed it twice. I took two photos at that time. I saw it when I came back. I feel good after washing, which is very innovative. Many friends are very excited after reading it. They all thought it was made by computers. The inspiration came this time, and then I groped, conceived and filmed for a whole year.

Shi: There is a saying that if you are not afraid of not being able to do it, you are afraid of being unexpected. Many people also say that there are many things in Shi's works that are integrated into painting to achieve the effect of "flowers are not flowers", but I think in my heart that if this method is not used, the effect of painting can be achieved. I used a lot of brains, and then I tried several times. Like this one, I think, with a reverse film, one. Basically, I had a good idea, and then I went to shoot, put a piece of glass in front, and then coated it with vaseline oil. This is not random. I looked through the viewfinder and smeared it. I painted it where it was needed and put it where it was not needed. Like the leaves in the middle, the texture is very good, or it embodies the characteristics of photography. When shooting, the key is to focus on this coarse grain that I rubbed with my hand.
