Paddy Field is one of the few color films in Cloud Gate Dance Collection. Lin Huaimin moved the paddy fields near the pond on the east coast of Taiwan Province to the stage with images. In order to record the life cycle of a paddy field, photographer Zhang Haoran visited the pond many times in two years, from early seedling, heading, harvesting and burning, to filling the field with spring water in the next year.

These beautiful and extraordinary images are projected on the awning and floor of the stage by image designer Wang Yisheng in a panoramic and close-up way, creating a soul-grabbing dance space. Wang Yisheng also won the 20 14 British Theater Image Design Award "Bright Knight Award" for his "Rice Plus".
