Who is the photographer Chen Man?

Her works have won many awards in Italy, Hong Kong and other countries and regions, and participated in fashion photography exhibitions held in Japan, France and other places. In 2005, he participated in the "Fashion and Personality-Photography Biennale" in Moscow, and in 2006, he participated in the "Tide" China Media Art Phenomenon Exhibition.

On the occasion of the third anniversary of Coldtea, Chen Man accepted an exclusive interview with Coldtea, telling her attitude towards photography and fashion.

Coldtea: How do you define the plasticity of the characters in your lens?

Chen Man: Everything is shaped by everything, and so are photos. There are too many factors behind it. Look at its requirements. If it's an inch photo, it's enough to have an avatar. If it's a beauty pageant photo, beauty is enough. Some people in the photo can't be the same person. Its plasticity depends on the requirements of the work, the professional level of the collaborators around it, the mood at that time, and even the social mood. In fact, according to this standard, everyone is highly plastic, because I have style sensitivity and strong imagination, just like a meal that everyone thinks is not delicious. It can be done by imagination alone, and I know it's delicious from that style.

Coldtea: When you finish a satisfactory fashion photography, what is the ratio of modeling, photography and post-production?

Chen Man: 100%, 100%, 100%, because you don't need to give the other two.

Coldtea: In the creative process, do you mostly listen to your own talents, skills or experience?

Chen Man: They are all comprehensive and must be comprehensive. If the above conditions depend on only one thing, it will be temporary. If they succeed, they will be nouveau riche, short-lived creators or creators of bad karma, because they will have to work harder and be patient.

Coldtea: What kind of relationship do you want to establish between the photographer and the subject?

Chen Man: Anything.

Coldtea: Most of the characters in your lens are bright, tall and cold. You said that before the sensory organs degenerated, you learned to love men's taste and women's epidermal fat more. ). How do you find their high recognition characteristics that distinguish them from others?

Chen Man: Sensitive nerves, sensitive nerves are given to me by my mother, and professional and non-professional aesthetic consciousness is given to me by my growing experience, because I shoot the same kind and like them, and the characteristics of the same kind are easily discovered by the same kind.

Coldtea: If you knew you were going to press the shutter for the last time, what would that photo look like?

Chen Man: I think about it every day. Really, one cannot predict the future. If you know this, you will know how precious every second is now. I can understand every second now and try to understand it, but it can't predict the future.

Cody: What do you think the name Chen Man means to photography? What does it mean to the fashion world?

Chen Man: I'm Chen Man. I think I'm just an ordinary girl from the South District of Beijing. Like other girls, I am a different person. I do what I want to do and try my best to play it. As for my meaning to the outside world, I am not qualified to comment on the definition myself.

Pictures don't know their own fate, and they don't know who is watching them. ...

Chen Man is a strange man. He speaks lazily, and when he opens his mouth, it is earth-shattering, and he can even directly act as a script line. Obviously doing artistic creation, she doesn't want to mention the word "artist". She spends all her time in fashion circles and celebrity circles, but she is a playful young woman in literature and art at heart. Such a contradictory girl can only grow up in Beijing hutong with mixed culture.

I don't understand why Chen Xiaoman must wear a red scarf.

When Chen Man was a child, he lived in Lianghutong, Langfang City, next to Dashilan. She is the only child in the family. Don't wash your face and have a runny nose in winter morning. I stole four eggs from home to make breakfast for the pancake seller. While eating, I reluctantly beat around the bush and walked to Taner Hutong. Halfway through the writing, I looked down at the chopped green onion on my chest and remembered that I didn't bring my red scarf, so I ran home to get it. Unlike his classmates, Chen Man learned to draw at an early age. When I was 2 years old, a mouse jumped out of my house one day. Chen Man is not very good at talking, so he picked up the strokes. When my mother saw it, she felt very similar and accurate, and immediately sent her to the Children's Palace to learn painting. She must have inherited her father's artistic genes. At that time, my father painted billboards-billboards in the early 1980s were not printed, but were painted with gouache piece by piece and then put together-but now it seems that the nature of father and daughter's work is the same, all related to fashion, graphic design and people, except that my father's works are domestic cosmetics, while Chen Man is Chanel and Shiseido.

Dad is kind to her, but the mother who is a doctor is much stricter. Chen Man wrote in his blog: "I was born with an angry face, but I didn't mean to. This is what I look like. My mother always slaps my face with my dad's art ruler every day, saying that my facial nerves are faulty, my mouth will always go down and my eyes will always look up. " Because of her strict mother, Chen Man's art courses never stopped, so that she was easily admitted to the middle school attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts in the senior high school entrance examination.

The middle school attached to the Academy of Fine Arts is much more free than ordinary high schools. "How free-you can sit casually in class, just hand in your homework, and you can make do without it." Chen Man recalled his high school days. He said that there was nothing serious in his mind. She fell in love with Zhang Dan in high school, when Chen Mancai 14 years old: "I sat next to him at the last table. We were buddies at first, and then we became buddies.
