Characteristics of sports photography

Sports photography is characterized by capturing wonderful moments. Generally, TV mode (shutter priority) is adopted, and high-speed shutter is used to freeze the moment. Capturing wonderful moments takes a long time of training. I am a sports photographer, and I have also photographed some sports competitions. First, the shutter action of shooting moving objects must be fast, preferably greater than 1/500 or faster, so as to solidify the action and make the picture clear. However, sometimes the slow door can be used to follow and shoot moving objects (the shutter speed is less than one sixtieth of a second), forming the feeling that the moving subject is clear and the background is blurred. Second, shooting moving objects must use artificial intelligence servo focusing mode. When shooting, you must pay attention, focus accurately, track the subject at all times, and lock the focus by half pressing the shutter, so as to ensure the success rate of high-speed continuous shooting mode shooting. Thirdly, if you shoot a regular sports competition, it is very important to know the rules, characteristics and laws of the competition, and to be familiar with and understand the project. The more familiar you are with the shooting project, the more you can predict the moment such as action and improve the chance of shooting the desired picture accurately. Fourth, if you shoot a professional competition, you usually have a telephoto lens. Do not enter the venue to take photos from a distance, and do not affect the game because of shooting.
