Technical problems of criminal imaging

Such a professional question, I have been in criminal trial for ten years, and I will try to answer it.

First, the roles are different. This is the most fundamental. Unlike ordinary photography, which is an artistic presentation, criminal photography serves criminal proceedings. It does not pay attention to any form of aesthetic feeling, but should be the most complete, authentic and prominent crime scene, which can describe the characteristics of victims, evidence and so on with the clearest picture.

Second, the methods are different. In order to convey their subjective feelings, the author of general photographic works will use many skills in shooting, while criminal photography should strive to be clear, comprehensive and focused in shooting methods.

Third, the nature is different. The essential difference between them is that ordinary photography belongs to works in the sense of copyright law, while criminal photography has no such attribute at all. It doesn't need the originality of the photo, but a kind of evidence.
