Analysis on Four Techniques of Ink Figure Painting
The four techniques of ink figure painting are priming, alum painting, heap gold and dip powder, and three alum and eight dyes. Do you know all the details? The following is an analysis of the four techniques of ink figure painting that I have compiled for reference only. Let's have a look.
Initiation technology
The bottoming technique of ink figure painting is mainly aimed at the use of artistic pigments, unlike watercolor and oil painting pigments which are often mixed with each other. The illegality of initiation can be simply divided into ink initiation and color initiation
When drawing light-colored ink, it is usually based on ink. For example, when painting the face of an ink-and-wash character, first make a bottom with light ink at the junction of light and dark, part of the chin and neck, and then coat it with ochre. If the hand is painted, you can also bake the raised joints with light ink and then color them. On the one hand, it can increase the thickness and muscle sense of the hand, on the other hand, it can avoid the monotonous color tone of ochre. If you draw a blue shirt, ink figure painting can also enhance the texture of agricultural clothing. Besides, when you draw a pure sketch form, you don't need to use priming technique.
If you paint the grass slope of ink landscape painting, first use ochre as the base, and then cover it with grass green. There are some loess layers under the performance film: if you wear gold, you can also use yellow as the base first, and stone green with stone storage or grass green as the base, which can increase the heavy feeling. In addition, gypsum is cyan, Korean sand is magenta and special source, and the front of meticulous mosaic is azurite, and the back can also be grass green or azurite.
Alum painting technique
Using alum to assist painting is gradually used by painters in China. Many contemporary China painters love to paint rain and snow with alum water. They used raw rice paper, arranged according to sketches, sprinkled with snowflakes or raindrops thrown by muscle water, and then coated with ink. Where there are alum flowers, they become snowflakes and rain columns.
Women, children and flower clothes can also draw patterns with alum water and then dye them, so the patterns are natural. For example, festive lights, fireworks, scales of carp and branches hung with snow can all draw unexpected effects with alum water.
A pile of gold powder in traditional Chinese painting techniques
In the painting of ancient architectural structures in China, the technique of quasi-dipping gold powder is often used. The technique is to mix seven parts of rammed loess and three parts of bean flour into paste, put it into a small cloth bag, squeeze it into the painting building through a pipe, and then coat it with stone yellow, glue alum water and tung oil. When wet, stick it with gold foil and rub it slowly to make the picture look thin and carved. This technique is also widely used to depict clothes, crowns and ornaments in Buddhist temple murals, which can enhance the festive, auspicious and gorgeous atmosphere and is full of national color.
The technique of piling gold and dipping powder is not suitable for painting on paper and silk materials, because it is easy to fall off because of time. However, it is feasible to use light clam powder to drain the powder and then use "sentence gold". If Chinese painting, ink painting, figure painting, clothing and blank space need to be decorated with gold foil and silver foil, they can also be directly glued to the picture.
Three Alums and Eight Dyes of Chinese Painting Techniques
Alum can fix the color and ripen the base paper, such as painting the face of ink figure painting. If heavy color is dyed, you can draw the face of ink figure painting on raw rice paper first, and then sprinkle it with alum water before heavy color, which can not only keep the pen of rice paper, but also make the heavy color painting even without water lines. If the color is too small and the color floats on the paper, you can also brush a layer of light alum water, and the color is the same.
According to "Six Paintings in Tang Dynasty", meticulous flower-and-bird painting can only be perfect with three alum and eight dyes. For example, the flower heads painted with rouge are painted with sand. After the background color is dyed with rouge, the color tends to float and mix with rouge. At this time, you can dye it with alum water before painting, so it won't float. There is no need to dye too much at a time. After dyeing one or two layers, cover with a layer of alum water, which can be dyed eight times at most, so there is a saying that Sanming alum dyes eight times. Before the painting of heavy colored powder is supported, it is also important to put an alum water to avoid the color from infiltrating into the water.
The techniques of painting green landscapes are basically the same. Before the grass green is used for dry dyeing of yin and yang, the landscape based on stone green can also be daubed with alum water, then rubbed with 10 thousand, and then dyed with alum, so that no matter how it is covered, it will not fade and mix colors. But alum water should not be too thick, too thick will make the picture brittle. After the alum water is washed away, lick it with the tip of your tongue. The concentration is high when it is too astringent. When the taste is not astringent but slightly sweet, it is suitable alum water, which appears in the common coating color, so alum water is no longer used.
