How to Evaluate the Documentary Hexi Corridor

In my impression, many regional documentaries were filmed with the assistance of the local government, aiming at promoting local tourism and cultural industries.

For this documentary, what really awes me is that although it was shot with the assistance of local authorities, the content traces the story that happened here with a rigorous and realistic attitude.

For the geographical landscape of this land, the documentary only touched on it in a simple and accurate sentence: except the ocean, there are all geographical landscapes! (The documentary could have been very different, and then it was advertised that the tourism resources here were great, so come quickly ...)

After the great geographical discovery began, Hexi Corridor gradually completed the historical mission of Chinese civilization. So I have always thought that the Hexi Corridor belongs to history, and the documentary mainly tells the story that happened in this narrow strip (the documentary is in the form of chronology, and actors are used to interpret the "story" that happened here).

Another highlight of the documentary is undoubtedly Yani's music Dream of Hexi Corridor. I am convinced of Yani's strength, but when I heard this piece of music, I was deeply shocked. The theme song of the documentary is almost a perfect match with the Hexi Corridor.
