Chongqing University Hospital is the directly affiliated unit of the school. After more than 80 years of construction and development and the unremitting efforts of several generations of large hospital staff, it has developed from infirmary and health care department into a secondary general hospital integrating medical treatment, rehabilitation, preventive health care and health education.

The hospital is the first batch of designated hospitals for medical insurance in Chongqing, and the chairman of the Health Care Medical Research Association of Chongqing University. There are four campuses, A, B, C and Huxi, which undertake the medical services of more than 50,000 teachers and students in the school, as well as the medical care services of tens of thousands of residents in the school family and surrounding communities.

The hospital is equipped with imported Japanese Shimadzu and Italian GMM-DR image diagnosis system, imported color Doppler ultrasound, X-ray fluoroscopy machine, DR physical examination vehicle, oral panoramic digital X-ray camera, oral and maxillofacial cone-beam CT, Ou Lin Bath electronic gastroscope, dual-energy bone mineral density detector, comprehensive treatment table for otolaryngology, Beckman automatic biochemical analyzer, Roche automatic biochemical analyzer, Roche chemiluminescence analyzer and Simson Kangmei automatic five-classification blood cell analyzer.
