Zhu De and Kang Keqing's office and living room are located in the first room at the east end of the main building of the base, opposite to Zhou Enlai's office and living room. The interior is displayed as it is, a light red old wooden frame bed covered with a coarse white mat, a thin gray quilt and an old brown Russian blanket. In the corner of the room, there is a pair of iron boxes containing official documents. There are iron-seated lanterns, letters from the Military Commission, envelopes, writing brushes, red and blue pencils and other objects on the red-painted zigzag table under the window. A bamboo hat, a dog pistol (used by Kang Keqing), a telescope and the Long March arrived in northern Shaanxi, and the photo of Zhu De and Kang Keqing in front of the cave was taken by Wu Yinxian, a famous photographer in China.
