Brief introduction of Dongtou scenic spot in Wenzhou

1. Dongtou Scenic Area in Wenzhou is famous for its strange islands, beautiful reefs, beautiful beaches, secluded caves, abundant fish and birds. It is the only provincial-level key scenic spot named after a county in Wenzhou. Dongtou is one of China 12 island counties, which consists of 168 islands. Known as "Baidao County" and "Pearl of the East China Sea", it is one of the 50 most worthwhile scenic spots in Zhejiang Province. The rich cultural characteristics of southern Fujian, the national sea fishing base and the best coastal photography place are the charm of this island.

2. Dongtou is located outside the mouth of Oujiang River. The main tourist islands are damen island, Haizhong Lake, Dongsha, Wanghailou, Xiandieyan, Zhuyu, Banpingshan and Daqu Island. Each island has a very rich landscape, such as beacon towers, forts, beaches, caves, rocks, reefs and many pavilions with different shapes, as well as many historical and cultural landscapes and monuments, such as Zhongputuo Temple, Martyrs Cemetery, Monuments, Memorial Relief, Military Theme Park, Mazu Palace, Poetry Gallery and pavilions, which greatly enrich the tourism connotation of the island.
