The Necessity of Travel: Eight Necessary Items for Photographers to Travel
It is an essential item for photographers to travel, but it is better to say that it is a few products necessary for me as a photographer to travel. But I think these items are very necessary for photographers, photographers or ordinary people to go out. I'll sort out some products that I often use when I go out for your reference. First, the Internet is the three major elements of modern life. Internet, air, water? Going out now is also very dependent on the internet. Needless to say, basic contact matters, map guidance, sending photos and even inquiring information are all necessary. I usually solve network problems in two ways: one is network roaming, and the other is renting a WIFI machine. This trip 1 1 month to Shimonoseki Kitakyushu, because the time is relatively short, only four days, using the roaming of the original door number. Personally, I use Chunghwa Telecom's service, which provides daily unlimited traffic package and 7-day fixed traffic package (1GB or 2GB). At that time, I bought 2GB of traffic for 7 days, and there were many photos and inquiries along the way. I used about 1.2GB in four days. ▲/kloc-the global WIFI network service for going out in February went to Hokkaido. Because the days are long, if you share the network with your mobile phone, you will soon lose power, so I choose to rent a WIFI machine. This time, I rented GSM WIFI and used Softbank service, which did not limit traffic. My trip coverage from Hakodate, Sapporo, Asahikawa and Meiying was satisfactory, and I didn't encounter areas with poor reception and no network. In fact, during the period, the local Softbank in Japan was down, and the line customer service response of global WIFI itself was also quite fast. ▲ In addition to WIFI service, Global WIFI also provides Internet-enabled SIM card sales, translators and 360 camera rental services. If you ask me, what are the advantages of using the Internet in two ways? I think so, too. If the number of days is short, we can determine the network quality of hotel accommodation at night and use the door number network roaming mode (one less machine) to reduce the burden. If many people use it at the same time, or the mobile phone is inconvenient to share, it is a good choice to use WIFI at this time. In addition, I think if there are some additional needs, choosing WIFI rental service can usually meet them. For example, global WIFI itself also provides services such as translators and 360-degree cameras. Translators themselves are one-way translators (Chinese translated into Japanese, Japanese translated into Chinese, Chinese translated into English, English translated into Chinese). Because I stayed in Hokkaido for a few nights, I also rented this translator to translate Chinese into Japanese, which is convenient for communication. I used the reference link of global WIFI sharers this time, and the whole journey is 20% off, free of charge. Second, what is more terrible than no network? Of course, the cell phone is dead. I will definitely put a mobile power supply in my backpack myself. Generally speaking, any mobile power supply that has passed the safety certification can be purchased. Now I prefer to use lithium polymer battery as mobile power supply, mainly considering weight and thickness. ▲ My commonly used mobile power supplies are, from left to right, New Xiaomi Power Supply 2( 10000mAh), Xiaomi Mobile Power Supply High Edition QC3.0( 10000mAh) and ZMI intelligent dual-mode rechargeable lithium mobile power supply (5000mAh). In addition, I recommend a kind of mobile power supply that I find very convenient: mobile power supply with charger and mobile power supply integrated with mobile power supply. Some hotels have few sockets, so this form of mobile power supply can supplement the power of both mobile phones and mobile power supply itself. ▲ Mobile power supply such as ZMI intelligent dual-mode rechargeable lithium mobile power supply (5000mAh) is very convenient in business hotels with only one or two sockets. Third, USB charging device This part I will bring is a USB porous charger. As I said just now, sometimes hotels don't have many sockets, so a porous charger is very convenient. ▲ It is necessary to go out with a 6-hole USB charger and a 2-hole charger that supports PD high-speed charging. I have a lot of equipment to deal with. You may take 3~4 mobile phones, 3 cameras, 1 wifi machine when you go out, and charge the mobile power supply at night. So I will probably bring a 6-hole USB charger and a 2-hole charger that supports high-speed charging PD. ▲ My own porous USB charger is Anker. At present, the new version also provides PD high-speed charging. On the right is Xiaomi 2-hole charger, which supports PD high-speed charging. Fourth, USB battery charger The above three things are relatively common parts, and this part will be more photographic at first. The first item is also an extension of USB charging equipment, which is a battery charger with USB interface. ▲ There are many options for such a third-party charger. I have a single version or two versions of the basic model. There are more advanced, even power displays. Because there are many cameras and few sockets, it is easy to charge each camera in turn if an original charger is needed. So in recent years, I began to replace some chargers with USB chargers. These USB battery chargers have many choices, some can charge two at the same time, and the better ones can even provide power display. Fifth, since you need to carry a camera on your photographic backpack, you need a good backpack when you go out. Generally speaking, I choose a backpack with three elements, namely, the backpack system, the space arrangement and whether there is a cache. ▲ My Ele DGB-S028 can also hold a laptop and a camera. Now there is a new version of Ele DGB-S037, which has improved some details. Several photographic backpack manufacturers have launched good products, and it is easy to see the entity on the storefront. At present, there are many new brands starting from fund-raising websites abroad, and I personally think that there are also places where it focuses on photography. I used Ele's backpack for my short trip with little equipment. I have carried a lot of equipment in the past year, and the most commonly used one is Wanderd PRV KE 2 1. ▲ My Wandering PRV KE 2 1. Sixth, people who like to take pictures in small bags will always have some photographic accessories, such as various photographic filters. If I were you, I would also have a tripod and a memory card storage box for a small mobile phone. I strongly suggest that you can find a suitable storage bag and put it in categories. ▲ I personally prefer Xiaomi's digital storage bag, some photography and computer-related accessories that I usually carry when I go out. The price is not expensive, and the compartment in the pocket is also very organized. When I go out, it is easy to find it even in the dark. ▲ I think the compartment of Xiaomi digital storage bag is ideal and easy to find. Seven, memory card As a photographer, it is necessary to carry a memory card with you. I will bring quite a few memory cards, not only to avoid running out of capacity, but also to avoid the temporary failure of memory cards. Plus the inside of the fuselage, I will probably take about 6 ~ 8 memory cards when I go out. ▲ I often use memory cards of various capacities. I have some selfish preference brands, such as Sony, Sandisk, Toshiba and Kingston. In terms of speed, I didn't make all the cards the highest, but I also assigned them according to the performance and use of the camera. For example, if it is a camera with large file capacity and fast continuous shooting speed, I will choose a high-end memory card with fast reading and writing speed; But if it is used as a backup and general camera, I will choose a memory card with high C/P value. ▲ I also bought a portable bag with four memory cards in it, which is a spare memory card for travel. Eight, portable tripod I am a photographer who doesn't like to bring a tripod, because it takes a long time to walk, and the huge tripod is very inconvenient to carry. However, thanks to the mirrorless lens, the weight of camera lens has been reduced in recent years, and you can carry a relatively light tripod when you go out. For the sake of weight and portability, the tripod I use is about 1 kg, which is about the level I can handle when I want to shoot at night. ▲ Two commonly used brackets: samurai outdoor Mini 1(800g) and Bainuo BENRO IA09(900g), all of which are about 30cm. However, for the sake of portability, there are some options for using the tripod above and below 1 kg. Personally, the success rate of long exposure of about 4-8 seconds is relatively high. If you need a longer exposure time, I suggest that you can choose a more stable tripod (of course, the weight and volume will be heavier and larger) to sort out these eight products that I often use when I go out and share them with you for reference. I hope I can make a reference for everyone who likes taking pictures and traveling. For the network mentioned this time, if you need to travel abroad, please refer to the following links:
