Marc riboud: Oriental Impression

Marc Riboud, a famous French photographer, was born in Lyon, France. From the age of 14, when his father gave him a Kodak camera, marc riboud had an indissoluble bond with photography.

In January, 1957, I came to China and started a five-month trip. I observed and recorded many historical events here, which gave people a strong shock with silent photos. Since then, he has visited China several times and observed and recorded some historical events in China. Three Flags of China, 4 Years' Photos of China and Tomorrow's Shanghai have been published successively. As a bystander and a stranger, he left many precious visual documents for China in great changes.
