It is difficult to completely avoid background interference in photographic composition. In order to correctly convey the theme of photos to viewers, first of all, you need to ensure that the photos are prominent enough and become the focus of attention. Here are some shooting ideas that can help you focus on expressing specific objects.

neutral background

naturally, if you shoot an object in a neutral background, it will attract the viewer's attention. This is not an arduous task, but it is a very simple but very effective method to ensure that the audience's attention is accurately focused on the object that you intend to focus on. You can also use a textured background, but make sure that the texture is not too bright, otherwise it will distract the viewer from the main object.

central position

Another way to effectively convey your message to the viewer is to put the theme in the center of the composition, so as to ensure that there are no other distracting objects in the background and the side of the main subject. To further highlight the subject, please use the vignetting effect.

depth of scene

by using a large aperture of f/1.4, f/1.8, f/2. or f/

2.8, the depth of field can be reduced and only the main subject can be focused. By reducing the depth of field, everything except the main subject becomes blurred and subtle.

light beam

you can focus a light beam on the subject, while the other objects are in the shadow, but it is not completely invisible, which can be compared with a spotlight aimed at the only singer on the stage. The dim light of the outline of the object will create a special atmosphere without distracting attention from the main object.

weak light and local shadows

Saturated color

Keep the color of the main subject unchanged, choose the main background color and slightly reduce its intensity. Other non-main colors may lose their intensity, leaving only two primary colors: the color of the subject and the main background color.
