Dongjiahe is called Li Po Valley by experts, and this village is also named after this river. Many years ago, a power station was built downstream, and streams were stored as lakes, so trees that originally grew on land became plants in the water. Over the years, these trees have not been extinct, but have become more and more flourishing. The phenomenon that "trees grow in water and water flows between trees" has become a great spectacle in some literati's works.

Speaking of the beauty of Dongjiahe, of course, it is not only the trees in the water, but also the river in the bay. Passing through the flat village, the ancient trees such as fragrant fruit trees, gongsun trees and poplars on both sides, like the gatekeepers of the mountains covered with vegetation on both sides, are particularly eye-catching in autumn. Of course, the wind and rain bridge on the river and the cave at the foot of the mountain are also places where tourists talk about it.

In addition to natural scenery and human landscape, it is also the hometown of Yi Mancheng, a typical national figure. I once photographed him entering the farmhouse to mediate disputes in this village. Dongjiahe is not far from Hefeng county, and it can be reached in less than an hour by car. When we came to the river in the morning, the sun had already risen and there was a faint mist floating on the river. We quickly set up a tripod and couldn't wait to start shooting beautiful countryside.

This river changes every year. Fengyu Bridge, which used to be full, is now blocked by some trees. In the early years, you could take panoramic views and reflections in the river bend, but now it is full of water and there is no place to stand. But you don't have to worry. You lost the original scenery, walked around the corner, but found something new. Whether it is the change of angle or the establishment of the theme, it will make people shine.

There is not much information about Dong Jiahe at hand. Fortunately, this autumn, Wuhan Publishing House published the book A Journey to Enshi Ancient Village, which included dongjiacun, a fairyland on earth.
