How to play with yourself after retiring from the lecture?

At the weekend, I listened to a lecture on "Photography and Calligraphy-My Retirement" given by Mr. Long at the Yangtze River Forum. The teacher told me how he devoted himself to studying and practicing unfamiliar photography and calligraphy after retirement, and his experience was recognized by experts, which has enlightenment and reference significance for all retirees.

Teacher Long Yuqun was the editor of Hunan Education Publishing House when he was in office. He has been playing with others and achieving other people's works. When he was about to retire, he found that he had left nothing behind, and he was once very confused. I began to think about how to play with myself after retirement. As a result, I chose to study photography, a major I didn't know, and bought a textbook to teach myself. Ten years later, he combined philosophy with photography skills and created many photographic works with unique perspectives and profound meanings.

Art is always connected. After studying photography for two years, the teacher began to learn calligraphy again. Eight years later, the teacher's calligraphy is also very good, strong and powerful, and has won unanimous praise from experts.

Of course, teachers have a high starting point and great achievements. Most of us ordinary people don't have to reach such a high level, but his attitude towards retirement, his enthusiasm for learning new knowledge and his spirit of improving the quality of life are still worth learning and learning from our retirees.

After listening to the teacher's lecture, I have three experiences:

First, choose a hobby that suits you, concentrate on your study and enjoy it, and maybe you will play tricks if you are not careful.

Second, be confident in learning new knowledge. It is never too late. You don't need to learn from the teacher. You can do it yourself.

Thirdly, it must be unique to express the truest and strongest feelings in the works mainly around the pursuit of beauty and free lifestyle.
