The colorful sea of ??flowers at Shanghai Flower Port is so beautiful

Introduction

Shanghai Flower Port is located in Pudong Nanhui New Town on the coast of the East China Sea, with a unique geographical location. Opened in September 2002, it is a modern agricultural demonstration park focusing on flower farmer training, flower planting, new product display, new product research and development, and seed export.

Introduction to Shanghai Flower Port

Shanghai Flower Port is located in the southeastern suburbs of Shanghai. It is a good place to enjoy flowers in Shanghai. Huagang is open in spring, summer and autumn, and is closed in winter from October to March of the following year (the specific date is subject to the announcement of the scenic spot). The park is divided into west and east. The west side is mainly the flower show, and the east side is the science island and leisure area, with a green maze and interesting bridges. Because the park is large and far away from Shanghai, I have no time to go and can only go to the west.

Every year from the end of March to mid-May, Huagang holds a tulip exhibition. This is the busiest time in the park, especially during the Qingming Festival, when many Shanghainese come by car. There are many varieties of tulips in Huagang, including red, yellow, white and orange. Some flowers have several colors on them, and some petals have a little rough edges. Narcissus, hyacinth, anemone, etc. Planted among colorful tulip flowers. They are also blooming brilliantly. If you like photography and want to take your time strolling around, you’ll want to spend a whole day there.

The scenery of blooming flowers

There are three windmills on Holland Street near Dadong Lake in the west, which is one of the best photo spots. Don’t take the photo under the windmill, but on the other side of the lake, with the sea of ??flowers as the foreground and the windmill as the background. The photos I took looked very Dutch. There is a beach under the northernmost windmill; there is a canteen under the southernmost windmill; the middle windmill is the largest, with a cafe at the bottom and an observation deck at the waist. You can climb the external stairs to the observation deck and overlook the beautiful scenery of Huagang.

In addition to the tulip exhibition, Huagang also holds theme exhibitions of lotus, water lily and other aquatic plants from mid-May to the end of September every year. There are not many restaurants in Huagang. You can eat at the Green Restaurant on Wutong Avenue in the southern part of the Western Region. It is recommended to bring your own dry food. There is a flower supermarket at the entrance and exit of the park. The flowers sold there are a bit expensive, but you can find interesting plants, such as succulent plants, mini pitcher plants that can hunt insects, etc.
