Brief introduction of Wuhan museum of sexual science

Wuhan Sexology Museum was established in August, 2003 19, located in Little Swan Hotel, No.285 Qingnian Road, Hankou Airport. Adhering to the tenet of "advocating sexual culture and opposing sexual ignorance" and "studying science for the benefit of all mankind", it is jointly organized by China Sexual Culture Museum, Wuhan Haoyuan Cultural Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Hubei Sexual Society. This is the second city in China with a place to spread and display sexual culture after the China Museum of Sexual Culture. The exhibition hall of Wuhan Sex Museum is divided into four exhibition halls: sexual relics, reproductive health, prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS, and body art photography. There are more than 700 sexual relics alone. The earliest exhibits can be traced back to the Northern Wei Dynasty, including erotic palace paintings, ancient porcelain statues of men and women having intercourse, and ancient folk cultural relics such as closet paintings and dowry paintings. Most of the exhibits are provided by Professor Liu Dalin. On April 19, 2008, the Sex Science Association of Central China Normal University and its party visited and cooperated with the Wuhan Museum of Sex Science on Qingnian Road.

On June 2nd, 2009,165438+1October 2nd, the famous American women's liberation drama "Vagina Monologue" was staged in Wuhan Sex Museum, Qingnian Road, Hankou. This is a purely public performance, and tickets are distributed free of charge. Vagina Monologue is the work of eve ensler, an American woman writer. The play awakens the whole society's respect for women and advocates women's care and protection for themselves. In 2006, Huazhong Normal University 1 1 female college students performed the play. This time it was directed and performed by another group of students from Wuhan University.
