When I came to Gangwon University, what I felt was nothing more than the enrichment of my life, which I could not feel in my previous life. I didn't expect that I would soon adapt to life in a foreign country. From the moment I walked into the gate of Gangwon University, I changed. Everything on campus is so natural and harmonious in my eyes. It not only eliminated all kinds of psychological emptiness when I came out of Korea, but also ignited my thirst for knowledge. I know very well in my heart that I will complete the mission of seeking knowledge in this institution of higher learning. My life hope is destined to be ignited in Gangwon University.

The change of studying abroad lies in the independence of life and study. From the moment I left home, I knew very well that I came out with the trust of my family and the mission of studying. My parents know that high prices in Korea will make me scrimp and save in my life, but in order to eat well and wear warm clothes, every phone call will ask me about my life first. Parents give their children too much. Now the reward for parents is to cherish the hard-won opportunity to study abroad and achieve something.

School life is the main part of studying abroad. Campus life is so colorful. Various societies on campus provide various development opportunities for our hobbies, and also provide a stage for our life practice and Korean cultural experience. At the same time, the China International Students' Association of gangwon University also organizes a variety of extracurricular activities for international students in China, which promotes the exchange of life and study among international students. Maybe my hometown is in Dabie Mountain area, and I really feel at home in Gangwon University. The climate, culture and mountain environment here are really the same as my hometown. Chapter two: colorful study abroad life in Korea.

My study abroad life may be a bit unusual. I didn't realize that I should struggle until I was 30 years old. Thanks to the help of a friend of my mother, I got a work visa for a Chinese school in Korea, so I took two big boxes to Korea, a country I was not familiar with but not unfamiliar with. I was attracted by it when I first arrived in Korea.

On the way from Incheon Airport to Chuncheon, I felt the "cleanness" of Korea, the clean streets, the fresh air, especially the trees trimmed into mushrooms on both sides of the road, which brought people constant reverie. I have to admit that gardening in Korea is really developed. After arriving in Chunchuan, I was even more impressed. Chunchuan is a beautiful tourist city, quiet and exquisite. In the days of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, I met many Koreans and made many friends. Koreans are very kind and enthusiastic. No matter what difficulties I encounter, I will inevitably trouble them, such as learning Korean, registering for exams, seeing a doctor and shopping. Every time, they helped me with great enthusiasm and patience.

I soon learned that there is a national university in Chunchuan-gangwon University, which is a very good school, and as long as my English scores meet the requirements, I will have the opportunity to apply for the full prize. This is a rare opportunity. Time doesn't allow me to waste too much youth, in order to get the full prize and study all the courses smoothly after entering school. I spend almost all my spare time at work, trying to learn Korean and English at the same time. On weekends, my friends go shopping and fall in love, and I sit alone in the classroom with a book. It can be said that I am crazy, but I don't think my soul is lonely, because I have a dream as my companion. Many things happen. Half a year later, I took the English exam, passed it smoothly, and applied for the full prize. I told the news to my family, and my parents, who had been worried for half my life, were very happy.

In March, 2007, I officially started my postgraduate study and life. After entering the school, I really feel that my usual efforts have paid off. I have no problem in class, I understand quickly, and my grades in all subjects are good. It seems that it is very important to learn a good language if you want to study abroad. Besides studying, I also experienced a colorful part-time life, from restaurants to convenience stores, from Chinese tutoring to part-time translation. Working life has taught me to stand on my own two feet. At the same time, through the contact with my boss and Korean friends, I learned more about Korea and exercised my language ability. In early 2009, I graduated smoothly. At the same time, I took the Korean exam and successfully passed the IK6 level. This is a small learning gain.

Korea is not a big country, but it is not an exaggeration to describe it as exquisite and tasteful. Small and clean restaurants, chic cafes, bars, unique Korean cuisine and snacks, unique Korean festivals, and enthusiastic Korean songs and dances. Life in Korea can be said to have made me go through many processes from scratch. When people come to Korea, the first thing they face is the problem of eating. Koreans like spicy food, but not as spicy as Sichuan food. Korean food is not greasy but very nutritious.

Kimchi is a daily necessity for every family in Korea. Kimchi has many beneficial bacteria, and now Korean kimchi is exported to the United States, Japan and other countries in large quantities every year. Many friends miss kimchi very much when they come back from Korea. Some people even learned how to make kimchi. Koreans like to eat cold noodles in summer Because the dog days are very exhausting, I want to eat ginseng chicken soup and nourishing soup. They are so delicious that they really feel full of strength after eating them. Pork belly and roast beef are the favorite dishes of every Korean. When I mentioned this, my mouth watered. Like many friends who have just arrived in Korea, eating in the canteen is a convenient way. It was the same when I first arrived in Korea, but later, because I lived in full tax and rented a house off campus, I often cooked by myself. Later, I found that cooking would save a lot of money. In the evening, most students go to restaurants to work, which are provided by restaurants that usually work and eat. There are many butcher shops in Korea. I often eat meat, and sashimi is often eaten in sashimi shops. It is easy to get the moon. From this perspective, working can not only make money, but also eat delicious food. Why not! International students can live in the dormitory of the school, one for two and one for three. The conditions are very good, and there is a place to take a bath. Some international life houses can also cook. However, quite a few people still choose to live off campus, because it is convenient, the accommodation conditions are good, the price is not expensive, and South Korea is very safe. This question can be decided according to personal preference. The transportation in Korea is very convenient, especially in Seoul. The subway is very developed and spread all over Seoul. If you travel in Seoul, choosing the subway will save a lot of time. The subway is not only as expensive as the bus, but the bus may also get stuck in traffic.

Outside Seoul, you can take a bus or a taxi. Taxis in Korea are cheaper. If there is an emergency and the road is not too far, it is still cost-effective to take a taxi. Sometimes, it's a short road, just two legs. After all, Korea is a small place, a small city.

Chapter Four: Memories of studying and transferring in Korea.

As a prelude, to be honest, my road to studying abroad was not smooth, but we all came and stayed in Korea for an extra year, and experienced things that ordinary international students could not. First of all, I want to say sorry to my friends who came with me. I hope you will forgive me for making our study abroad public.

First of all, disaster fell from the sky

On September 1 1, 2007, a group of 68 people came to the appointed university, and the school signed a 2+2 contract with this school. We also stayed in China for two years, and finally came to our dream country. I don't know that the nightmare is coming quietly. That night, the Korean school told us at the meeting that all of us should start from freshman year. This means that we must stay in Korea for two more years. The sudden blow left us at a loss. Most people are crying and shouting, but for us who just came to Korea, our strength is too limited. Finally, some people compromised to stay there as freshmen, and the rest and I went to another sister school as sophomores. Unfortunately, this school is a two-year college. It was raining all the time that week, and we were dragged around by the shuttle bus helplessly. Everyone took more than two travel bags. Brothers and sisters who have suffered together for two years have also experienced painful parting. I still remember going back there again at the weekend, and all my friends rushed to cry. This paragraph is the last thing I want to write, because even the strongest me, I always burst into tears.

1 year later, I hardly had a chance to meet my classmates there. We live in our small city, and they have started their college life for four years. Because of the new experience, everyone suddenly became sensible. These people who came with me all want to be promoted, because this is the way we should have gone. Everyone was under great mental pressure, and I didn't say a word to my family. Before going abroad, my sister told me that you should take care of yourself abroad, so far away, we can't fly to help you. It seems that all the children except me made their decisions after consulting their families. Living a closed life in the dormitory every day, I am very confused.

I work part-time in a restaurant at night. Only then did I know what the ashtray was called and what the spicy radish was called. If it's good, I'll ask you where you come from with great concern. If it's not good, just say it.

This sentence is the last dialect I want to hear. After working all day 12 hours, I was so tired that I sat on the ground and secretly shed tears whenever I had time. I didn't go back that spring festival, and then the opportunity came. My friend is studying languages in another school. He told me that their school started enrolling students in March. I went to their school anxious. At that time, I didn't know if there were any other schools that wanted to transfer students in September. I quit my job on the spot and went to this school. It's my first time to get on the train in Korea, too. I got the application materials back from the Institute of International Exchange, and later learned that these can be downloaded online. Since then, I have emailed the admissions teacher almost every week, asking for some details, and then I gently told my family that I would transfer to another better school. In fact, up to now, I am also very uncomfortable to bother my family to make materials for me, and I cried when I got the EMS. There is also a recommendation letter from the professor in the submitted materials. At that time, I was ignorant and didn't know how to ask for help I told the professor directly that I needed a letter of recommendation for further study. Please write me a letter of recommendation. The professor said that you didn't ask me to write the recommendation letter for you, but I thought you were good. Then I didn't give a clear answer. It took 1 more weeks to find a way, and then I asked the dean of the Institute of International Exchange to write it. I was helpless. Finally, I collected all the materials and sent them. Then I waited for a long time, waiting for the interview notice, and I was almost ready to announce the results before I went to the interview. I ran to school again, skipping class for the first time. The office teacher just waited for the news and ran back in less than 1 minute. Later, I actually waited for the first-instance admission notice directly. I heard that few people applied to our department this time, so I passed the exam directly! It's so difficult to get into the department, I didn't take the exam! ! ! At that moment, I felt reborn, and then I submitted the deposit certificate, relative justice and other materials, waiting for the final result. At the beginning of May, I saw myself on the list of qualified students. In June, I also took the Korean Level 5 certificate. In this way, my study abroad life in Korea has just really begun.

Second, the real life of studying abroad has just begun.

On the day of tuition payment in July, I dropped by to see the house. I saw someone in the group recruiting and sharing before. In view of my living habits and the dormitory provided by the school, I chose to rent a house. I paid a deposit of 654.38+10,000 yuan and guaranteed a place to live when I came back. I don't know anyone in the new environment. I stayed at home for almost a semester. I only went out to buy food and go to school this semester, and I learned five majors and two upbringing. Because I didn't know the seniors, a professor gave all the students in China a D, and I was honored to be on the list. In the middle, I applied for a work-study program in the school library. I am an international student who entered the central library part-time in our school. Besides, the library teacher thought I was recommended. I just saw an announcement on the school homepage and submitted an application material on my own initiative. The part-time job in the library has adapted me to the new environment, and I am no longer afraid to bow my head and go back and forth alone. But then, I resigned. I don't know why. Senior students all graduate from freshman year. It was the first snow in winter, and tears fell with snowflakes. I have encountered this kind of unfair treatment at school, and I am very sad and frustrated. At that time, I had been working part-time in the library for a long time, and I was not going home. This is another sudden change ... In anger, I posted a condemnation post on the school BBS, and the 3-hour 2000 click made me extremely uneasy. In the evening, the library teacher called and said that the influence was not good, so I deleted the post wisely. I was vague and didn't agree. Later, let me change the subject, but I didn't answer. Because at that time I already knew that my grades were only related to the professors I chose, and this was obviously an exception for me. Later, the curator personally called the mobile phone and went to the interview in fear, letting me go back to work. I said forget it and delete the post when I come back. That semester also ended at that time.

The second semester was a turning point in my new environment, because from then on I began to integrate into this environment. This semester, I learned all the drinking games played by Korean students in Jeju Island from the 4.3 Jeju Island Historical Review Tour organized by the General Student Union, and met 42 Korean students. My cheerfulness and cooperation also reassured the team leader. They said they were a little worried that I would have a bad life. May 18 Reviewing the history of youth sports in Gwangju, I saw the enthusiasm of Korean students in Gwangju. Everyone gathered in the square to tell the story of that year, singing, crying and dancing together. Every Wednesday, there will be seminars on the future training of social groups and employment organized by schools. My sister, who met me in Economic Island, informed me of the information and participated in the Chinese translation of the musical. Busy, in addition to these activities inside and outside the school, I also took three English classes and learned the wisdom that a second language cannot learn a third language. I am tired of English every day. Although the professor gave me a good score in the end, academically, this semester is the most tiring.

The third semester has just passed. I spent almost all this semester on the shuttle bus. Because of my senior year, I want to prepare for employment in advance. After discovering that I don't have the advantages of academic qualifications and colleges, I frantically applied for a college. In Seoul, it takes four and a half hours by shuttle bus from Daegu. I paid an expensive half-year training fee, insisted on going once every Saturday, took the subway 12 hours on the way, and had classes for 4 hours. Two months later, I took the first qualification exam. After the exam, I found that after two months of running around, I hardly saw any friends and my study was a mess. Then the college was postponed and rested. In the past two months, I also went to Seoul to interview a Fortune 500 company. Of course, as a placement student who hasn't graduated from a local university in Korea, it's so far away, but I also passed the materials, passed the written test, and finally participated in 1, and was finally eliminated by those graduate students in Seoul. Although, of course, it was lost for many days. It seems that when I went to 1, four people I found on the school BBS sat on KTX for the first time and went to Seoul with a whoosh. The busy third semester passed and I found one thing. Now professors don't like China students very much. In fact, some professors failed almost all the students in China, which was not the case in previous years. This is a great blow to us. Although I'm not miserable, I'm not as miserable as I was then. A professor told me that you got such a good grade when you came out of a national university. Then isn't it a loss for us to return to China ... what would you do ... suddenly reminds me of the word vicious circle. Because there are more and more international students, schools are no exception. International students are tired of learning, and professors are not serious ... This vicious circle is that I have been busy practicing recently. By the end of this week, I have finished my sixth week of internship in shinhan bank. This opportunity was recommended by the Institute of International Exchange, screened by the deputy manager of the bank, and finally determined. Here, although I only need to do some chores and tell customers where the serial number machine is, it is a simple translation for China children to do business, but I have learned a lot from it. For example, I am chatting with the children in the language class against time and asking about their study and university application. I know that the children in the language class of foreign students in China are most afraid of being kept in school, and there are still many inconveniences in their lives, such as renting a house, buying a mobile phone and eating. Recently, I also want to make some brochures of our school's life guide and put them in the Language Institute, so that the younger generation will not be as helpless and helpless as when they first came. It is not easy to say welcome at the gate of the bank, but it also requires a state of mind, naturally standing at the door, smiling, greeting and seeing off every customer who comes in. This is also the first time that the school bank has asked China students to practice. In addition, it recruited seven Korean female students for internships in other branches. The assistant manager said that if he behaved well, he would recruit China students in the future. So I worked hard. After working for a period of time, my understanding of Korean professionals has also changed. There is only one week left, and I think I will finish it well.

After next semester, I will graduate from college. I don't know whether to go or stay. Although I'm a little confused, it's hard to study in Korea for two and a half years, but I have never regretted choosing to study in Korea. Now that I'm here, I'm going to be strong.
