Shooting Beijing Shougang Industrial Site

Shougang Industrial Site, located in Shijingshan District, Beijing, is the largest industrial site in Beijing. Like many sites, such as the hidden station on the west side of Beijing subway 1 line, it is guarded by people and it is difficult to enter through normal channels. Not long ago, under the guidance of my friends, I went deep into this place through the cracks in the wall and took a photo with the theme of ruins.

Walking out of the bustling downtown area of Beijing is another desolate scene. Although many "villages in the city" and "development zones" in the city can also find the old and shabby feeling, the desolation of the past prosperity is more profound. It bears the industrial history of Beijing, but Shougang, which is now waiting to be demolished, will only exist in the photo in the near future.

Exploring on the spot is more emotional than looking at photos. If you go alone, you will probably shrink back in broad daylight ... When you go back to the city for dinner that night, you will feel a kind of intimacy of "returning to civilization" instantly. Maybe this is the meaning of Wan Li Road.
