Interim Measures for the Administration of Highway Passenger Transport in Sichuan Province

(4) Self-employed households and joint households engaged in passenger transportation must handle passenger accident insurance and third party liability insurance in China People's Insurance Company. State-owned and collective passenger transport enterprises should also actively participate in insurance;

Units and individuals applying for temporary (less than three months) passenger transport shall be approved by the transportation departments at or above the county level and obtain a temporary business license before they can operate.

Tenth highway passenger vehicles must carry operating licenses or temporary operating licenses, hang operating line signs and fare tables, and use unified highway passenger transport bills and driving waybills. Eleventh units and individuals engaged in highway passenger transport, to strictly implement the provisions of the provincial price department and the transportation department of freight rates and service charges. Inter-provincial passenger vehicles shall implement local freight rates outside the province or according to the agreement. Thirteenth units and individuals engaged in highway passenger transport must abide by laws, regulations and rules; Obey the management, inspection and supervision of the relevant government departments, establish the idea of serving the people, improve the quality of service, and be civilized, polite, safe, timely, convenient and comfortable; Do not compete for passengers by unfair means or interfere with or crowd out other people's normal business activities. Fourteenth highway passenger stations and passenger centers should face the society and serve all highway passenger vehicles. Fifteenth units and individuals engaged in highway passenger transport in violation of these measures, by the traffic department depending on the seriousness of criticism and education, warning, fines or suspension of operating documents. The fine standard shall be formulated by the Provincial Department of Transportation in conjunction with the financial department and submitted to the provincial government for approval.
