Cambodia's latest entry policy 2023
Visa Entry According to the agreement between the two countries, people holding diplomatic and official passports of China and Cambodia will be granted visa-free entry for 30 days. Holders of China ordinary passports and official ordinary passports must apply for visas before entering the country. The visa application method is as follows:
First, apply for a visa.
(1) visa on arrival. You can apply for a 30-day tourist visa (T visa, tourism) at the airport and land ports, or multiple entry for one year, two years or three years.

(2) Cambodian embassies and consulates in China applies for a visa. (3) Electronic tourist visa. China citizens must log in to www.evisa.gov.kh and apply according to the website, which is valid for 90 days from the date of approval and can stay for 30 days after entering the country.
Information required for electronic travel sign: electronic photo with white background (specification 3.5x4.5cm), scanned original passport of the applicant (passport is valid for more than 6 months), and truthfully fill in the information required by the website.
(4) If you have applied for a visa or the above-mentioned e-tourism visa at the Cambodian Embassy in China before going to Cambodia, you need to go through the entry formalities with your passport, visa and pre-filled entry card when entering Cambodia, and you don't need to apply for a visa on arrival at the port.
Remarks: Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the Cambodian government announced that it would suspend all visa-free policies for foreign countries from March 3, 2020, and suspend the issuance of tourist visas, electronic visas and visas on arrival. The above policy has not changed so far.
Second, the visa extension.
One-time entry tourist visa (T visa) can only be extended for 1 stay for 30 days after entry. After entry, you must apply to Cambodian Immigration Bureau within 15 days, and the visa type cannot be changed. With a one-time entry business visa (e-visa), you can apply for multiple entry business visas for 3 months, 6 months, 1 year by yourself or through a local travel agency. The visa stay period is the same as the visa validity period.
Three. Entry and exit
When entering Cambodia, you must complete the entry card in advance. From June 1 2009, Cambodia started to use the new entry card at all its entry and exit ports, which combined the original visa application form, entry card and exit card, optimized the contents to be filled in the original three cards, canceled the requirement of submitting documents and photos, and kept the Chinese translation, greatly simplifying the entry and exit customs clearance procedures in Cambodia. If China citizens who come to Cambodia need to apply for visas on arrival, they can fill in the cards item by item in capital letters as required, and then go through the entry formalities with the cards. There is no need to fill in other forms when leaving the country.
Four. Visa type
Cambodia visa code:
Diplomatic visa (visa A): issued to diplomats of foreign diplomatic missions in Cambodia, their spouses and minor children.
Official visa (B visa): issued to foreign citizens on official business in Cambodia.
Business visa (e visa): issued to foreign citizens who come to Cambodia for short-term or long-term investment, business and labor services.
Courtesy visa (C visa): issued to foreign citizens who are invited by Cambodian officials to visit Cambodia.
Tourist visa (T visa): issued to foreign citizens visiting Cambodia.
Long-term residence visa (K visa): issued to Cambodian citizens with foreign passports.
Visa-free (G visa): issued to/kloc-children under 0/2 years old.

After losing your passport, you have to reissue your travel documents and local exit visas, which will not only bear certain expenses, but also delay your time and itinerary. Please take care of your passport.

Never use your passport as collateral or substitute.
When entering Cambodia for epidemic prevention, the customs must fill in the customs declaration form and hand it over to the customs officials. (1) Obtained Cambodian nationality by birth. If one of the parents is Cambodian, their children can acquire Cambodian nationality; Newborns born in Cambodia can acquire Cambodian nationality.
(2) Obtaining Cambodian nationality through marriage. After obtaining a marriage certificate, you can apply for Cambodian nationality by living with your Cambodian spouse for three years and living in Cambodia for more than one year. Minor children of foreigners married to Cambodians (1under 8 years old) can also apply for Cambodian nationality together.
(3) Obtaining Cambodian nationality through investment. Foreigners who actually invest in Cambodia and meet the standards of the Royal Government can apply for Cambodian nationality, but they must meet the following conditions:
1, with good conduct and good moral character.
2. No criminal record.
3. I have lived in Cambodia for 1 year.
4. Have a permanent residence and residence permit in Cambodia.
5. Cambodians have certain listening, speaking and writing skills, know some Cambodian history and are willing to accept Cambodia's good traditions and customs.
6. Be healthy and mentally sound, and will not cause danger or burden to Cambodia.
(4) Obtaining Cambodian nationality through donation. Foreigners who provide financial assistance for Cambodia's social and economic development or participate in charitable activities in Cambodia and have made special contributions to Cambodia may apply for Cambodian nationality, but they must meet the following conditions:
1, with good conduct and good moral character.
2. No criminal record.
I have lived in Cambodia for six months.
4. Have a permanent residence and residence permit in Cambodia.
5, good health, sound intelligence, will not cause danger and burden to Cambodia.
(5) Examination and approval procedures for entering Cambodia. An application to the Royal Government of Cambodia shall be submitted by the Royal Government to the King for approval. After being allowed to join Cambodia, you must take an oath in Cambodia.
Third, work and residence.
According to the provisions of Cambodia's Labor Law and Immigration Law, all foreigners working in Cambodia must apply to the Cambodian Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training or the provincial labor and vocational training bureaus for a foreigner's work permit and a foreigner's employment permit. Foreigners applying for the above two certificates must meet the following requirements:
(1) The employer must have a legal work permit in Cambodia;
(2) The foreigner applying must have entered the country legally;
(3) The foreigner applying must hold a valid passport;
(4) The foreigner applying must hold a valid residence permit;
(5) The foreigner who applies must be fit for the job he is engaged in, in good health and free from any infectious diseases.
The work permit for foreigners and the employment permit for foreigners are valid for one year and can be extended according to regulations.
Cambodian immigration authorities will inspect foreigners working in Cambodia according to law. If foreigners are found to have failed to apply for the Work Permit for Foreigners and the Employment Permit for Foreigners, or fail to apply for the extension of the above two certificates on time, they will be fined or deported.
