Brief introduction of Chibei District of Changbai Mountain Management Committee
Chibei District of Jilin Changbai Mountain Reserve Management Committee is located in the southeast of Jilin Province, adjacent to North Korea in the southeast, on the northern slope of Changbai Mountain, 34 kilometers away from Changbai Mountain, 65 kilometers away from Binzi Peak on the border between China and North Korea, with an area of 52.42 square kilometers and a population of 63,475 (including: 44,494 permanent residents and 65,438 temporary residents+0,8981). Known as "the first town under Changbai Mountain" and "the hometown of Meirensong", it is a tourist attraction with the reputation of "holy mountain, holy water, wonderful forest and fairy fruit".
