Minsheng Road, Pudong 1600

Passport is a kind of identification document. Passport, visa to the destination country and air ticket to the destination country must be issued at the same time when entering or leaving the country.

L to visit relatives and friends, settle down, travel, etc. , you must hold a personal passport valid for 5 years.

L National regulations: Hong Kong can't be a direct destination. You can only go to a third country and pass through Hong Kong for a maximum of 7 days. Therefore, to go to Hong Kong, you must apply for a third country visa. Or you can go directly to Hong Kong with a valid Hong Kong and Macao Pass, but you must follow the tour group.

L If you arrive in Hong Kong with a five-year personal passport with a third-country visa, if you return directly from Hong Kong instead of going to that country, you will have to make a bad record when you leave Hong Kong Customs and leave a corresponding seal on your passport. If you have this seal more than twice, it may cause unnecessary trouble for you to enter and leave Hong Kong and other countries in the future.

L Passport must be handled at the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau where the household registration is located.

L The old passport can be directly replaced with a new passport when it expires, and there is no need to replace it.

From September, 2002 1, Shanghai began to try to get a passport on demand, and you can go to the entry-exit management office with your ID card.

Beijing, Guangzhou and other cities still implement the new version of the 97 passport application method, and the procedures for applicants to apply for passports are also simplified accordingly. They can obtain passports within the specified working hours by submitting the following documents. (For details, please refer to the precautions for China citizens to apply for going abroad):

1. Bring my ID card to the local entry-exit administration office to get the application form;

2. Fill in the application form, affix the red seal and the signature of the person in charge, and then go to the personnel department or party committee where the file is located. The child's application form only needs the parents' signature. The application form needs two copies;

3. Submit one of the following materials according to different purposes of going abroad:

A full travel invoice of a travel agency with overseas travel business qualification recognized by the state (for the purpose of traveling abroad). In other words, the so-called travel agency can help with the passport, but the application form still needs to be taken back to the unit for seal).

B. Proof of qualification examination for studying abroad at one's own expense (for the purpose of studying abroad at one's own expense).

C. Exempt from overseas invitation materials (such as visiting friends for the purpose of going abroad). If there are foreign friends, you only need to fill in the name of the foreign friend, the time of arrival in the country and other information on the application form, and you don't need to submit any additional supporting materials. This method is recommended).

4. The original and photocopy of the household registration book and ID card;

5. A photo 1 piece (48*33mm) that meets the requirements shall be posted on the application form.

6. Get your passport after 2 1 day (15 working days) of data submission (Beijing).

Note: The regulations for handling passports in different regions of China are not exactly the same. Before applying for a passport, you must first check the relevant regulations at the local entry-exit administration office. After the inquiry is clear, you can contact the travel agency if you have any documents that are difficult to handle.
