Yunnan travel guide must-see attractions

Dali ancient city is located in the west of Yunnan Province, also known as Ye Yucheng and Zi Cheng. The history of the ancient city can be traced back to the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, and the Yangcheng built by Luo Feng of Nanzhao Wang Ge is its new capital.

2. Old Town of Lijiang

Old Town of Lijiang is located in the ancient city of Lijiang, also known as Dayan Town. Located in the middle of Lijiang dam, it was built in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty. Located in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, with an area of 7.279 square kilometers. Yulong Snow Mountain is a group of snow-capped mountains in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It is the snow-covered mountain range closest to the equator in the northern hemisphere. The whole mountain 13 peaks are vertically arranged from south to north. The highest point of the main peak is 5596 meters above sea level, with snow all year round, and the height of the snow line is between 4800 and 5000 meters.

Pudacuo is the first national park in China, located 22km east of Shangri-La County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. In Tibetan, "Pudacuo" means that God helps to reach the other side of the lake by boat.
