Where does Yangbaoshan belong?

Guiding Yangbaoshan is a famous Buddhist mountain in Guizhou. Yangbaoshan is located 3 kilometers north of Guiding County. It is famous for its Buddhist culture and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is also known as Mount Emei in Sichuan and Jizu Mountain in Yunnan. The three famous Buddhist mountains and sacred pilgrimage sites in southwest China are known as the "Victory of Eastern Guizhou". The blessed land of Lingshan is filled with morning mist and sunset glow. For hundreds of years, it has attracted countless tourists and worshipers with its majesty, tranquility, depth and steepness. On Yangbao Mountain, there is a forest of stone-carved monks' tombs that is unique in Guizhou and rare in China. It covers an area of ??tens of thousands of square meters and contains 124 stone-carved pagodas, 71 monks' stone tombs and hundreds of monks' earthen tombs, belonging to the Ming Dynasty, Qing Dynasty, Three historical periods of the Republic of China. Yangbaoshan has the potential of thousands of mountains to come to the dynasty. Its temple complex was first built in the Tang Dynasty. After successive renovations and expansions, it has formed a considerable scale and is well-known. It is a representative work of Guizhou Buddhist culture and has high aesthetic, religious, cultural relics, Tourism, historical and scientific research value. After historical changes, in the late 1950s and early 1960s, ancient buildings such as the Lotus Temple suffered devastating damage.

Guiding County will rely on Yangbaoshan’s Buddhist culture, Buddhist sites and other tourism resources for restoration and reconstruction. In 2015, preparations began to be made to invest 2.8 billion yuan in five years to build Yangbaoshan into a comprehensive Buddhist cultural tourism area integrating religion, entertainment, and leisure comprehensive service systems. In August 2016, it is planned to hold a series of Buddhist cultural activities such as "Buddhist Experts Dedicated Tour to Guiding" and "National Famous Buddhist Mountains Meet at Yangbaoshan in Guiding" to appreciate the profoundness of Buddhist culture.
