Meishan, alias Meizhou and Qitong, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, located in the southwest of Chengdu Plain, with an overall topography of high in the west and low in the east, high in the south and low in the north, belonging to a subtropical humid monsoon climate zone with a total area of 7,14 square kilometers.
