The difference between tourism products and tourism commodities
From the perspective of tourism destination, tourism products refer to all services provided by tourism operators to meet the needs of their tourism activities by virtue of tourist attractions, transportation and tourism facilities;
From the tourist's point of view, tourism products refer to the complete tourism experience that tourists spend a certain amount of time, money and energy in exchange.
In short, tourism products refer to the combination of various material products, spiritual products and tourism services provided by tourism operators to the tourism market to meet the various needs of tourists in tourism activities. Tourism product is a whole concept, which consists of tourism resources, tourism facilities, tourism services and tourism commodities. Its characteristic is that tourism services become the main body of tourism products, and the specific display mainly includes routes, activities and accommodation.

1. Core tourism product (original form): it has the utility and value to meet the aesthetic pleasure needs of tourists; 2. Combined tourism products (ultimate form): The multiple value additions made by tourism enterprises or tourism-related enterprises around the core value of tourism products have the utility and value of meeting almost all the needs of tourists in the process of tourism.
In addition to the composition of interests, we can also examine the material composition of tourism products. As a tourism product, there are both material components and intangible components.
Tourism commodity
At present, the domestic academic circles have not reached a * * * understanding of the concept and definition of tourism commodities. The phenomenon of vague boundaries and mixed names among various concepts can be found in various documents. This situation has hindered academic exchanges and the development of tourism commodities to some extent. This paper analyzes several concepts that are mainly mixed together at present, mainly "tourist shopping goods", "tourist souvenirs", "tourist products" and "tourist commodities", and gives the scientific name of the commodities that tourists "buy": tourist commodities. On the basis of analyzing the existing definitions, this paper redefines the scientific definition of tourism commodities. In today's tourism market, we don't know what kind of goods can be classified as tourism goods. Usually, many commodities that are not tourist commodities are generally classified as tourist commodities. I really don't know how to locate tourist goods.
