How to apply for an American visa

The process of applying for a US visa is as follows:

1. Submit a valid passport;

2. Submit various documents related to the application, such as birth certificate, marital status certificate, education certificate and work experience certificate.

3. Fill in and submit the visa application form. Different visas have different forms, most of which should be filled in foreign languages, and at the same time provide their own photos;

4. Meet at the Embassy and Consulate of China in that country. Some countries stipulate that all immigrant applicants must be interviewed before making a decision; Some countries also stipulate that applying for a non-immigrant visa also requires an interview;

5. The embassy or consulate shall submit the completed visa application form and necessary supporting materials to the domestic competent authorities for examination and approval. The embassies and consulates of a few countries have the right to issue visas directly, but they still have to report to the domestic record;

6. After going to the competent department of the host country for necessary examination and approval, notify the embassy or consulate of the host country of the examination and approval opinions. If you agree, a visa will be issued. If you refuse, you will also inform the applicant. (visa is refused, and the embassy or consulate will not refund the visa fee);

7. Pay the visa fee. When submitting a visa application, you must pay the fee first. In some countries, the fee is charged only after the visa application is successful.

Materials required for visa to go abroad:

6 photos, 1, 2-inch white background;

2. Two copies of ID card;

3. Original and photocopy of two passports;

4. Original proof of no criminal record (issued by the police station where the household registration is located) and 2 copies;

5. The original and four copies of the qualification certificate (each page needs to be copied, including the cover);

6. Original health certificate, 4 copies (red copy) and 2 copies (yellow copy) (copy every page, including the cover).

Article 2 of the Passport Law of the People's Republic of China

The passport of the People's Republic of China is a document for People's Republic of China (PRC) citizens to enter and leave the country and prove their nationality and identity abroad. No organization or individual may forge, alter, transfer, intentionally damage or illegally detain passports.

Article 6

When applying for an ordinary passport, a citizen shall submit a resident identity card, a residence booklet, recent bareheaded photos and relevant materials of the reasons for the application. State functionaries who leave the country to apply for an ordinary passport for reasons specified in Article 5 of this Law shall also submit relevant supporting documents in accordance with relevant state regulations. The exit-entry administrative organ of the public security organ shall issue an ordinary passport within fifteen days from the date of receiving the application materials; Do not meet the conditions, it shall explain the reasons in writing, and inform the applicant of the right to apply for administrative reconsideration or bring an administrative lawsuit according to law. In remote areas or areas with inconvenient transportation or due to special circumstances, passports cannot be issued on schedule, and the issuance time can be extended to 30 days with the approval of the person in charge of the passport issuing organ. If a citizen requests emergency treatment due to a reasonable emergency, the exit-entry administration organ of the public security organ shall handle it in time.
