Kunming Dali Lijiang Travel Guide

pDali, as we all know, is a beautiful, mysterious and leisurely place in Qingyuan. However, when you actually stand on the streets of Dali Ancient City, you will realize that the lyrics, words, and images of those music are not one of them at all. The city has no subway, no people rushing to work, and very few people even ride bicycles. Dali is safe and has no offensive power.

This is a gentle city. The scenery is unique and the flowers can be scanned by hand, but they are not unconventional. The so-called "there is no way Dali is charming" is just because of the romance.

Dali Prefecture is located at the junction of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the Hengduan Mountains. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The landform is complex and changeable. To the west of Diancang Mountain and Cangshan Mountain is the high mountain canyon area. To the east of Diancang Mountain [Cangshan] and to the west of Xiangyun are the steep slopes of Zhongshan Mountain. The mountain ranges within the territory mainly belong to Yunling Mountain and Nushan Mountain. Diancang Mountain is located in the central part of the state, towering and straight like an arch like a screen. The lowest point is Hongqi Dam on the Nu River in Yunlong County, with an altitude of 730 meters.

Under the combined influence of low latitude and high altitude geographical conditions, Dali Prefecture has climate characteristics of small annual temperature difference and indistinct four seasons. "The atmosphere of the four seasons is always like early spring, cold ends with coolness, and summer ends with temperature." There is not much difference in temperature between the four seasons. Due to Quanzhou's complex topography, large altitude differences, and significant vertical differences in climate. Temperatures decrease with increasing altitude, and rainfall increases with increasing altitude. The valley is hot, the dam area is warm, the mountainous area is cool, the mountainous area is cold, and the three-dimensional climate is obvious.

There are flowers, plants and trees in the yards, birds are singing, and there is water flowing in the creeks and ditches outside. The scene of "three houses and one house, several pots of flowers for one house" is still there. The Huguo Road running from east to west in the ancient city is called "Foreigner Street". There are Chinese and Western restaurants, cafes, teahouses, and handicraft shops here one after another. Most of the signboards and advertisements are written in foreign languages.
